James Davidson Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.S.M.B.S.

Dr. Davidson is great. If you want warm fuzzy bedside manner he is not your guy. But if you want someone who knows what they are doing, is very confident and has a great office staff....he is your surgeon. My surgery is a week away and I have full confidence in his ability. I love the office staff. Trevor in the office will take great care of you and give you all the scoop on how to get through everything. Linda will get all the paperwork and get Nova Body Solutions working to get through the insurance maze. I will update more after my surgery.

He is vary professional and you can tell he truely cares and will keep helping his patients. The staff of friendly and vary helpful and they also care.

I have had a wonderful experience with my surgeon and his office staff. My calls are returned promptly, his staff is very friendly and professional. I feel like they really care about their patients. I would recommend Dr. Davidson to anyone considering WLS.

First impression of him was very professional but not so personable. He was very informative and answered any questions I had. His staff is definitely AWESOME from the office staff to the insurance lady, Linda, to Sandy his NP. rn Before surgery he met with me and we talked about the surgery and he made me feel comfortable. I wish he would have visited me in my room at the hospital after the surgery though. His NP, Sandy came by several times to check on me and I love her. She is very nice and you will feel like you can tell her anything. rn I would definitely use Dr. Davidson again and feel his experience made this surgery go smooth.

Dr. Davidson performed lap. gastric bypass surgery on several of my co-workers and I was very impressed with the recovery period, the positive comments from these individuals and how well they did...... little post op pain, no post op problems, return to work in a timely period and great staff in his office.....especially Chris Arrowsmith. I enjoyed the support groups, the water aerobics classes, etc.rnDr. Davidson is professional, answers any and all questions, I never felt rushed. rnI am an RN and rate the surgical competence as a priority. I can do with a little bedside manner but overall I look for perfection and I found that in Dr. James Davidson.rnI was done in 2005 and had alot of great aftercare with Chris Arrowsmith. I could email or call and hear from him in a short period of time. BSC of Dallas has a very structured aftercare program and diet, supplements, exercise, lifestyle changes are covered at each visit.rnrnI now live in another state but always recommend a trip to Dallas to see Dr.rnDavidson if bariatric surgery is what they want.

I, would have to say, that my first impression of Dr. Davidson was, this man is very well educated. I felt very comfy with him. I, very quickly got the impression that he would do everything in his power to make sure I would have WLS. I, felt he was going to be working for \"ME\" on this WLS journey. I, never once felt out of place or out smarted. He, seemed very intrested in knowing my family history and my struggles with PCOS. He, was in general a very concerned surgeon and you could see through the education the he truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. I, think he has the \"BEST\" office staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! I could go on and on about the great day I had with them. I will add more to this once I have had my surgery!

Dr. Davidson is an older man who is well respected as a doctor. He isn't a man of many words and wanted to know that I was positive with the choice I had made. He wanted me to be well prepared and sent me home with numerous handouts to read. He has an awesome staff-they are the best. They prepare you well and are very serious about your care. They make themselves available to you anytime. I was very pleased.rn

My very first impression is that he was sneaky, as he snuck into our weight loss seminar, lol. He was very willing to answer any questions that we had. The staff was very kind and helpful. Dr. Davidson is quick and to the point. He didn't waste any time with me, and he doesn't mince words.

I am so glad I picked this surgeon. I know about 8 people who have had this surgery and so far my experience has been the best. They totally have this figured out. Everything they said I would feel I have felt, and everything they said would happen has happened. They give us a step by step guide to pre surgery to 6 months post op! It is awesome! I am proud to say my surgeon is anal about his patients! He did a terrific job! Thanks Dr. Davidson!

i like him very much. you can tell he cares about the patient. when he ask questions he wants you to have the right answers. he is very honest. im glad i picked him. i have only been to the office 2 times now and i just love him and his staff very much. his staff cares about you and put you 1st.
