I'm scheduled for my first visit with Dr. Davidson on January 28, 2003. I was impressed with the receptionist that answered the phone and the coordinator that took my information and scheduled my appointment. They answered what few questions I have at this time and were very nice. I'm very anxious to meet with the Doctor.
(1-28-03)Met with Dr. Davidson today. He seems like a quite man, very nice. I liked all his staff. Chris directs the program and is very thorough; didn't have a lot of questions left for the doctor. The doctor has sort of a dry sense of humor and sometimes I couldn't tell if he was kidding about something or not. Dr. Davidson has a 3 year program for aftercare which includes nutrition and exercise. They are available 24/7, which I liked alot. I had been reading some things about problems with the surgery but after meeting with the doctor today I feel very comfortable and no apprehensions at all.
Dr. Davidson is offering both laparoscopic and open RNY procedures to patients, depending on preference and the patient's individual needs. BSCDallas is developing a comprehenisve three-year aftercare program which will address as many of the post-op patient's needs as possible.
Dr. Davidson is a very nice man. he is a christian and has a very good head on his shoulders and wants the best for his patients. he suggested the laproscopic procedure on me because i am so young and dont have a BMI of over 45. i will be having my surgery on Dec. 16, 2002 so, i will let you know how it goes!
My surgeon is a very informative doctor. I went to my consult and he explained every detail of the band vs bypass, as well as post op procedures, complications, and diet. His staff is just wonderully helpful, they are just a phone call away and willing to answer any question. I don't have one single negative thing to say about him or his staff.
Dr. Davidson is a very down to the point type of guy.my impresion never changed. his office staff are very polite.I didn't like anything least about him he talks and tells you everything because some dr. just want to hear you and people tend to run out of questions but Dr.Davidson fill in all the blanks.he is the best surgoen that I have communicated with. yes he does have an after care stragety and he emphasize the after care the risk of surgery was in a booklet that he hands out as well as his conversation about the risksso far so good
