My first impression of Dr. Davidson was that is is very informative and thorough. His office staff is great, especially Trevor. He is full of life and it's like you have known him forever. Dr. Davidson is strictly business, but I would definatly choose surgical competence over bedside manner anyday. I have been thoroughly advised of all of the risks of surgery. Aftercare is the most important aspect besides the actual surgery itself. BSC Dallas has an awesome program and amazing patient support.

Dr. Davidson was wonderful. He was knowledgable, caring, and made absolutely sure I knew what I was getting into. Everyone in his office is friendly and will bend over backwards to accomodate whatever you need. Aftercare is a major concern and you are never in any doubt about what is expected. It is a very structured program and you are not left on your own to \"figure it out\" at all. You are also given a 24 hour number in case you have questions. I would rate the entire staff 10+ and Dr. Davidson is absolutely the best. I have had no problems at all. My incisions were small and are healing great with probably little to no scarring. I know people usually experience at least one negative but I honestly had a great surgery and am experiencing an awesome recovery.

When I first meet Dr.Davidson He seemed like a very straight forward let's get it done kinda of guy. He was very knowledgable and he asked many questions about my family and so on. He is very kind and i truely believe that he understands the heartache of being obese. I absoutly love his staff. Sandy is very sweet. The whole team works very hard for their paients. I really have no complaints about Dr.Davidson. Future paients should understand that Sandy will be your best friend through the process. Dr.Davidson and his staff did a great job telling me and quizzing me about complications i may have. I would rate Dr.Davidson a 10 on 1-10 scale. He did a great job and i look forward to my contiuning weight loss.

Doctor Davidson is a great surgeon! He is a very straight forward doctor and he wants you to be an active part in your health care. He made sure I knew what my choices were, what the risks were, and what to expect & not to expect! I felt at ease with him from the very first and my opinion has not changed. He took very good care of me and I would refer anyone to him in a heartbeat. He did my band surgery and repair my hiatal hernia at the same time, I left the hospital a few hours later and never took another dose of pain meds! I have done extremely good with recovery so far and I owe that the being well infomed by Dr Davidson & his staff before surgery!

All I have to say about Dr. Davidson and his staff is basically that I am obsessed with all of them. Dr. Davidson is straight to the point, and is extremely knowledgeable. My impression has not changed. He is still the one who has saved my life. His office staff, oh my goodness, I could marry every single one of them. By far the nicest, most caring staff I have ever encountered. His future patients should know that when you are around Dr. Davidson, you should know that you are in the presence of a professional. He does not say much, but he knows what he is doing. I trust him with my life (obviously). Dr. Davidson and Sandy( Nurse) make the risks and aftercare very very VERY clear, and they really make sure you are mentally and psychically prepared to undergo a weight loss surgery. I would rate the ENTIRE experience a million and a half. And the half is due to the pain of the surgery, but that was my decision. But, they took the best care of me. Consider yourself extremely lucky to be his patient.

Dr Davidson was right to the point no nonsense kind of a man. He has a compassion for assisting patients in there weight loss journey. I had my surgery November 2003 I believe. I was one of his early laproscopic RNY surgery patients. so, a lot of the newest and greatest information was just so new. I chose to have the surgery with an indvidual surgeon rather than the Baylor Bariatric surgeon onteroge. It was the right chioce for me. Chris Arrowhead was just bringing this program up and running for Dr Davidson and was such a warm support and kept me grounded when I need it. The after care was very extensive, classes with the dietician, excercise, and support group were just a few of the items. And it was charged seperately from the surgical program, my surgery was covered by my insurance but the after care was not. Chris made sure I was able to pay out the after care because they new how important it was to sucess. I moved out of state just one year after my bypass to a small southwest missouri town that was not yet on the WLS band wagon. So, I had little support in my weight loss adventure. Dr Davidson was frank about risk factors and I would rate him a 9 out of 10. He has a dry sense of humor but has his heart in the right place. He even walked the halls with me at 10:00 pm after surgery, i think to show he could win. thank you and have a blessed day. Thresa Looney

Dr. Davidson's bedside manner may be different from what many people would expect, but not once did I feel as if I wasn't in the most capable hands around. He is straight-to-the-point, but you are left feeling just how important your flourishing through the entire process is to him. We are tested on surgical risks before we can have the surgery, and their aftercare program is top-notch. The office staff is amazing, and anyone who is considering this type of surgery should definitely check out Dr. Davidson. We drove 7 hours (one way) because we were so impressed with the doctor and his staff.

He is matter of fact and to the point, but he always shakes your hand before and after talking with you. I think that is very nice. His staff is awesome, very caring and responsive. I really don't have any issue with him. He is a Christian and has Christian outreach he has done on his walls. That meant a lot to me as a Christian. I like the fact that there is a very structured aftercare program and he asks you the questions to make sure you have listened and understand the risks and what is required of you after surgery. I would rate him 10 out of 10. I believe his surgical competence outshines his bedside manner, but he is just a reserved person, I feel. His website says his staff will treat you \"with a servant's heart\".
