Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Center for Weight Management at St. Francis Hospital
The nurses, at times, seemed to take a very long time responding to call lights. I didn't use mine very often, but when I did, I really needed someone. And help took a while getting there! But, basically, it was an uneventful stay. The discharge took an extremely long time! I was ready in the morning but I didn't leave until almost 5PM!
I didn't like call lights being answered in the form of a intercom call where I had to speak out loud enough for my roommate and those outside my room also, what I needed. I.E.: I need to go to the bathroom, can you undo my leg wraps?, or anything else that is private. Remember to just say, it's private can you please come in so we can speak lower. After a surgery like this, it's extremely hard for one to speak loudly or yell, when they can't hardly breathe when they are nauseated or in pain.
