Met Dr. Brian Boe, on May 21, 2001, He was very nice and informative, answered all the questions I had, and explained the surgery to me..

MY HUSBAND AND I MET DR. BOE ON MARCH 9 2001. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PUT ME AT EASE FIRST THING.HE WAS HONEST AND POSITIVE AND ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. HE WASN'T RUSHED HE TOOK PLENTY OF TIME AND HE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR.. I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND I AM PLEASED HE IS DOING MY SURGERY.

My first empression of Dr. Boe was that of proffesionalism. He wanted me to be very well aware of the surgery I was asking him to preform. He aswered all my questions before I even asked. He even scared me a bit. I was not sure if I wanted to go througt with it afterwards. I was very upset at the time of our meeting. My wonderful mother-in-law passed away and her funeral was that very day. Everyone at BTC was wonderful, smiles everywhere. To make a long story short my insurance approved and surgery is scheduled on the 24th of July 2001. I feel very confident with Dr. Boe doing my surgery.

Dr. Brian Boe was my surgeon on 11-15-00.
I felt very confident in him and he is a great surgeon. He is very smart and did a fantastic job on my surgery. I actually did not have to take any pain medication when I got home. I had the surgery on a Wed and got home on a Saturday. It was a 6 hour trip and I got along just fine.The office staff is fantastic, everyone is so nice and they really do care about you. The aftercare program is very percise and they keep very close tabs on you. You have alot of check ups and later on some blood work. I am very pleased with the after care program. It is very important to me and to them. The risks of the surgery were addressed right up front, I had no surprises and was told everything I needed to know.I would rate Dr Boe as just great. He does a fantastic job, he cares, he is very compasionate and knows what he is doing, a great surgeon. The Best.
Dr. Boe has it all, surgical competence and a great bedside manner. He is a great surgeon and has become a great friend to me and my husband. I now have a life again.

I really liked DR. Boe, while waiting for surgery he talked with me and he joked with the nurse.I feel that all the staff that worked with Dr. Boe where great. I was very pleased with all the care from the nurse to the Dr. and to every one else who came and cared for me.

He was very soft spoken and very understanding. Took a lot of time to explain the procedure and what would be happening to me and my body. He was always available to answer any questions that I had. Always returned my phone calls promptly.
Loved the whole staff at Bariatric Treatment Center in Belvidere, IL. They were great. Every consideration was taken to insure that my hospital stay was as pleasant as could be. Quite a few of the staff have had the procedure so they could understand what I was going thru.
The aftercare program was terrific. They ave support groups which meet regularly and have been a great help to me in finding out how to increase my protein, how to get back in the swing of things and just everything in general.
Would recommend them 1000% to anyone. The whole group at BTC is fantastic.

Dr. Boe was very comprehensive in his consultation and managed to answer all of the questions I forgot to ask. He seems like a very nice person.

When I first met Dr. Boe, I was struck by how personable and down to earth he seemed. He went over details of the procedure and also discussed possible risks and expectations. He was quite thorough without being verbose. And most importantly, he did a WONDERFUL job with me. He removed a hernia and my Gall Bladder when he did my surgery. The incision was very neat and thin, and is healing very well. And he was encouraging and friendly in my first follow up visit. I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering this surgery.

I thought Dr. Boe was very knowledgeable and he answered mine and my daughter's questions.
Dr. Boe came to talk to me before the surgery to be sure I waas ready and to see if I had any questions. He was very concerned with my well being and I appreciated that quite a bit. I was very scared, even though there was no way anyone could have talked me out of having the surgery. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Boe and the Bariatric Treatment Center. They were the best.

Dr. Boe performed my surgery on 3/19/01. My first impression of him was wonderful, and he hasn't disappointed me yet. He's taken the time to patiently answer my many questions in a warm, friendly way. He seems genuinely concerned about his patients and has a personality well-suited for dealing with terrified patients. I'd recommend him without any hesitation!
