I am not happy with the hospitals policy that would not let me have my surgery until I paid half of my balance due befoer my surgery and they told me this 5 days before my surgery. They said my surgery was an elective surgery....NOT !!!!

the nursing staff was great, they were kind and helpful with any needs i had, they were prompt and orderly

My first impression of Dr. Classen was WOW what an informed man. I met him at the seminar he and his associate Dr. Davidson hosted. He seemed very personable. During my first visit he answer the questions that I asked and was quick to move on to the next question I had. His assistant DONNA is the best, very friendly lady!

Great first impression! Seems like this man knows his stuff and many others feel the same way! The staff is friendly but could contact us in a more timely manner. They have a great support program that I would recommend to anyone living in Fayetteville. They meet at Village Surgical the 3rd Thursday of every month.

Very knowledgeable. Very thorough. Not a big talker though would answer all my questions if I ask. So be ready to ask. His staff was nice and thoughtful. Always have your questions on paper and be ready to ask. He wants you to be involved with the after care program. He has a structured aftercare program. He did go over all the risk of surgery. I liked him and he was thorough and did listen to me and my complaints. Great doctor. He is a great surgeon. He seems like a nice guy just not a big talker. It has been nine months since my surgery. I am very greatful to Dr. Classen for seeing me and doing my surgery. My life has changed greatly since the surgery. I would do it over in a minute and would reccomend him to others. Highly satisfied.

I feel very good about this hospital when it comes to ability. However, when it comes to nursing and nursing assitants, they need a course on Ettiquette and Gastric By-Pass surgery. They also need to be more sensitive to the needs of obese patients.

I have my first appointment with Dr. Classen on March 16th. I will let you know how that goes. Donna has been so helpful on my unique situation. Thank you so much!

Let me first say how impressed I am with Dr. Classen. I met him for my first appointment this week and have to say that he made a wonderful first impression. I must however state that the education seminar that Village Associates, Dr. Classen and Dr. Davidson, hold is outstanding!! It is so informative about the A-Z's of this surgery. They explain everything from the procedure, benefits of surgery, complications of surgery, insurance, cost and what to expect post op. At the end they hold an open forum for the patients to ask whatever question you want. They are so knowledgeable about obesity and the surgery. I recommend this practice 100%.

spent my entire admission in icu. only problem I felt was on personal hygine. received no help at all with bath, linens etc.

I have been admitted for 3 surgeries here. The latest was 2-25-04 for my abdominal plasty. The care was top notch!!
