The parking isn't good right now, they are in the process of making a parking deck, so you have to park and have a shuttle bring you to the hospital. That is bad when you have kids and stuff you have to carry on the shuttle.

I had my initial consult with Dr. Classen on 11-13-06. My first impression is that he is very knowledgable and compassionate, and he assured me that he and his staff can help me! It was great to hear someone say that they can help me get my health back! He has a great program of before and after care, and a support group meets regularly. The office staff was also very nice and helpful, and some of them are gastric bypass patients. I am so excited about getting my health and my life back!rn

I only had one nurse that was really concern. The others told you to call when you needed them but they took a long time to come.

My stay was pleasant, the nurse staff and were great. I have no complaints. Only thing they didn't have any popsicles and I HATE Jello! :)

I only had a problem with one nurse the rest were great

Dr. Classen was a good listener and answered all my questions. He was patient and addressed my concerns. He took out my gallbladder in march 06 so I know he is an excellent surgeon!

Would love for rooms to be larger - Nurses were very friendly - Felt the nurses however had too many patients to tend to at one time. Since so many weight loss surgeries performed here would love to see them devote a specific nurse to bypass patients so they could come even more familiar with what to expect from their patients conditions. The transport system to and from the x-ray/radiation area was not very impressive. The parking was awful during my surgery because of the expansion of the hospital a shuttle bus is needed to get from your car to the hospital entrance but hopefully this will be corrected in the future.

Dr. Classen is wonderful! He is my hero! He is very willing to answer any questions that you have. He is very informative and straightforward. His office staff are very kind and willing to help in any way they can. Donna worked very hard to get all my information to the insurance company. I would rate him at a 10

Overall my stay at the hospital was great. The nurses were very good and actually seemed to care about each and every patient. They also seemed to care about the family that was there also. My husband stayed with me the whole time I was there. They made sure he was confortable also. That meant alot to me. They never once asked him to leave my side. He was even with me throughout the X Ray process. Everything went very well there.
