Dr. Kurian was the most amazing doctor. Since my surgery in late Sept. 2004, I've lost 75 pounds. She saved my life. Her staff is absolutely wonderful, especially Almira. I'm forever grateful for what they've done for me. If you're considering surgery you won't go wrong with Dr. Kurian. Good luck!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kurian.

In fact, if it was not for her understanding and help I am not sure I would have ever gone through with the surgery. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. I felt very cared for by her and her staff. The informational handouts prepared by her staff and her nutritionist were so helpful. She gave out a detailed list of what would happen at the hospital and I felt very prepared. I would highly reccommend her to anyone. I honestly do not have any negative comments to make. She even called me the afternoon before the surgery to see how I was doing and to touch base. That alone should tell you a great deal about her.

I liked Dr. Kurian very much from the beginning. She is very easy to talk to, and very friendly. i emailed her with questions, and she replied promptly. Her office staff was excellent, very friendly and professional. They filled out all my paperwork, I never filled out any insurance forms, and have never paid them a dime. They are also very cooperative with all forms and questions. OVerall, it was a great experience.

I found Dr. Kurian to be very up beat and sure of her patients and her abilities.

Dr. Kurian is so nice and down to earth. I would highly recommend her.

Since I only met my surgeon once, I can only say that she seems very confident in her work & has a lot of patience. She always answered my questions & made me feel at ease.
The staff is wonderful, always on top of everything & answers all me questions promptly. The are really a great help.

Dr. Kurian immediately impressed me because she was warm and friendly and spoke to me in a very professional manner.

Dr. Kurian stuck by me through an insurance appeal and worked with my family to appeal the insurance company's decision.

I chose Dr. Kurian after meeting with 2 other surgeons. I liked her personality and felt she was very competent. I wish her office had a more structured aftercare program but overall I am happy with my choice.

Dr.Kurian is a young, beautiful, experienced EXCELLENT surgeon. I felt that way the second I met her, and continue to feel that way almost a year after surgery! She is funny, charming and brilliant. There is not one thing that I do not like about her!! (Pardon the double negative but it is for emphasis!!). Her staff is wonderful and helpful. If you are contemplating Gastric Bypass or any othe obesity surgery, she is the one to go to. There is no better and it most urgent that you have the surgery done by the best possible surgeon. There are other best surgeons around the country, I am sure, but she is definitely on top of the list! The surgery is a risky procedure and not for everyone. One must take the risks seriously. But once the decision is made, Dr. Kurian is the surgeon to go to. She is truly the BEST!!
