I have all my test scheduled for pulomologist Oct. 30th. and blood work that day. Nov. 6th I see the dietican. Fran has me seeing another pulomologist and I told her I have already seen Dr. Amed in Valparaiso, IN. But she said that they can not except him, they have to use their own doctor in the Indy area. She could not explan why. Dr. Huse told me to go ahead and go to Dr. Amed at the consultation visit with him. Well the insurance had better cover both! Or Fran will be getting another call directed to her. I am still hurting so much!
9/26/01
I called for a surgical date and I was put off again by Fran in Dr. Huse's office. My primary care phychian Dr. Dunevant needs me in for my surgery STAT.

I met with Dr. John M. Huse and I was very impressed with him. He was very attentive to my recent changes with my health and my insurance changes. He answered all of my questions and I spoke with a patient of his that had the surgery by Dr. Huse and he spoke very highly of Dr. Huse. I am happy!

Due to my insurance(Sagamore) guidelines (Point of Plan)I will not be able to have Dr. Batay-Csorba as my surgeon.
My first impression of him was he looks like a man that knows what he is doing.
I think he impressed me more throughout the consultation visit as to the information presented.
His staff was very pleasant and helpful. I found nothing about this doctor that I did not like. Through to the consulatation visit I can say that you can ask any question, just speak up, he will stop and listen.
After care was covered both by the doctor and the support group staff.
He did address the risks of the surgery.
100%
I think he has an appropriate personality for bedside manner and the surgical competence statement will come after my surgery.
My first empression of Dr. Huse was that he was caring and didn't talk much, plus he talked really low.
I still think he is very caring and he talks more once you get to know him.
They are wonderful. I bugged poor Fran to death for awhile and she was always nice about it.
That Dr. Huse really cares about his patients.
He emphasizes it alot
Yes
He explained them and we had the classes alos
I would rate Dr. Huse as wonderful
both great
I really don't have anything negative to say. Except maybe one thing. Dr. Huse you need to make the examination rooms at your office at Methodist a little more Cheery.
8/17 consultation - John Huse
I found him soft spoken with a quick smile. He is an excellant doctor thats why I chose him.
His staff was friendly and helpful. I was especially thankful to Kim who was able to move my appointment from 10/17 to 8/17.
Dr. Huse was very through in explaining risks and benefits of both procedures. He explained the importance in following instructions in your aftercare.
I did not find him overly friendly but I attribute that to the fact that he had many more to see. My main concern is that he has the skills to do my procedure.
8/27 I have been approved!!!!!!!!
I have a surgery date 12/11/2001
My first impression of Dr. Huse was that he was soft spoken but knowledgeable. I noticed that although he wasn't very loud or boisterious he seemed to smile the whole time. There was no opinions involved with the consultation which was excellent since I feel one should make there own decision. His office staf was ver friendly and outgoing. He emphasized that aftercare was vital to success and that their program times can be somewhat flexible for those of us traveling.I would rate him with very high marks!!I felt completely comfortable asking him even what I considered 'stupid' questions. Be sure to call before you leave for you appointment as the office & doctor are very busy and may need to reschedule!
I had a wonderful surgeon who is not only highly skilled but seems to have a wonderful bedside manner. I believe he truly cares about his patients. Dr. Huse has done both of my procedures. I recently noticed a hernia which he will repair 8/21/01. It isn't a lot of fun going back to surgery, but I don't have any options. I have complete confidence that he will take care of me.
Dr. Huse's office staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend him to perform your surgery.
Dr. Huse seemed knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. The St. Vincent's office staff was friendly and helpful. After waiting two months without hearing anything I called Dr. Huse's office to find out that my insurance was waiting for the results of a psych evaluation to make their decision. The problem with this is nobody told me so an appointment could be made. Once I received authorization from my insurance on 08/02/01 my surgery date was set for 01/09/02, five months away.
Dr. Jones is a soft-spoken older man that makes you feel at ease right away. He has done over 2000 surgeries and is very informative. He seemed generally concerned about any questions I had and told me to call his office if I had any more questions and handed me his card. It make it seem more personal since he is the one who is going to help me change my life forever!!! Feel very confident in my choice.
