Dr Huse is my life savior. He gave me my life back and I shall be forever grateful to him. May everyone find such trust and enduring faith for their Dr as I have for Dr. Huse. I can only hope his retirement brings him so much happiness as he has gave every patient and or consult in his life time. We are Blessed to have had him in our live. May God grant you such happiness always Dr Huse.

They say a first impression is a lasting one. With Dr. Huse that was all so true. My first, and only impression of this doctor is he is kind, compassionate and genuinely cares about his patients. He sees us and treats us as people not illnesses or disease like some doctors do. His staff is equally as kind , compassionate and caring. I never had a bad experience with any of them. There was nothing I did not like about him or his staff. I wish I could recommend future patients to him but unfortunately he retired in 2013. I was broken hearted to see him go. He was such a fabulous doctor. His post op care was just as structured and consistent as pre op care. he took the time to go into great detail about every process of the procedure, from the 1st initial appointment clear up to yrly follow up care. Leaving nothing to question. Overall I would rate his as one of the TOP BARIATRIC SURGEONS in INDIANA. His from his beside manner to his surgical competence and everything in between ... Dr. John Huse was the most phenomenal doctor I've ever had the pleasure of working with in my life and trust me throughout my life I've been to many... many doctors.

Amazing surgeon, after consulting with two other surgeons, decided on Dr. Huse, and so thankful he performed my surgery. I have had no complications, and my incisions are looking like they will not even be noticeable. I have been very impressed with Dr. Huse and his office staff, they have been more than accommodating. Not only can I recommend Dr. Huse, but my sister had surgery with him back in 2005 and has maintained a 100 pound weight loss. If you are considering gastric bypass in the Indianapolis area, I highly recommend you consult with Dr. Huse.

Dr. Huse is the first surgeon to take me seriously that there was a problem, and he found that it was a healing error and not due to compliance. I had my surgery on April, 3, 2012. Dr.Huse was wonderful with his aftercare. I did unfortunately have complications. They were not due to anything that he had done. His staff and himself were wonderful with helping me through everything. I have lost 100 pounds so far, as of a year out. Now we are working on the process of plastic surgery. he is sending the letter to the surgeon that I need to consult with. I am very glad that I went to Dr.Huse for my revision :)

I met with Dr Huse and his staff in Feb.2010, and I did not have a problem with any of them.

Dr. Huse is a really friendly Doctor even though he does not look like it at first lol.

I am looking forward to getting this surgery over and done with and I have all the faith in Dr. Huse getting it done and bringing me through it with great care.

I thought he was very personable. I first met him in September of 2003 when my husband went to him.He had surgery in May 04. I choose Dr. Huse for my surgery because we had such good results with him then so I thought lets just keep it up. I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking about this. He does all by steps. Each day a new step. Can't thank him enough.

Dr. John Huse was exactly the kind of person that I needed. He was kind, soft spoken and direct. I told him my story, he listened as if he had known me all my life and said you have no fears. He made me feel like even though I was heavy I had something to offer. rnrnThe staff at his office have been so helpful and have listened to me cry when I found out I was approved never rushing me to get off the phone. when I became lactose intolerant after the surgery they were there to help and to listen as well. rnrnHe was wonderful in the hospital and very attentive to me. His voice was calming and not brusque as my heart surgeon with zero personality was. I am so thankful that I had someone like him.rnrnFor those of you who like the caring approach, I found Dr. Huse to be the greatest. He never fed me false information and always asked me to ask him questions!

I have only met Dr. Huse once so far. He seemed very nice and caring.rnrnHis staff has been most helpful and friendly on the phone.rnrnI have met a previous patient of his through normal life encounters. No one pointed me towards her, I found out during a simple discussion. She had surgery with Dr Huse in 2004 and was extremely happy with him. She stated very very strongly that I must listen to him and obey all instructions to the letter to be truly successful and safe.rnrnI will update as I have more interaction with Dr Huse and his office.

My first impression of Dr. Huse was his calm personality. He listens to me and genuinely cares.

When Dr. Huse performed my solastic ring surgery he as exactly the same. I would not want another surgeon performing my revision.

When I had my first procedure I think I did not pick up on his caring nature as much as I have this time. He is a quiet man, and I may have misunderstood that previously.

I know if there is a problem he is quick to get with you. Dr. Huse treated me as if I were his only patient and I truly appreciate it.

Dr. Huse has been honest about the risk of revision and explained to me about scar tissue from the previous surgery. I feel at ease with him because he is revising his own work, that and the fact he is very experienced.

I feel Dr. Huse is more than competent and I will see how the bedside manner plays out when I have my revision.
