I was very impressed with Dr Davidson knowledge of weight loss surgeries. He explained the risk and benefits of the surgery. The receptionist Amy, was so friendly and helpful in getting me additional information about accomadations, because I don't live here in Texas, just having the surgery here. Micki was very helpful and scheduling my surgery, because I called the dr office and told them my insurance company has approved my surgery, she schedule me for surgery over the phone and gave me a date. At the seminar Chris the director told us all about the aftercare programs, his position at the hosp and how Bariactive is a way to be successful after surgery to have a better life. I'm so ready to have the surgery.

In addition, he even showed me pictures of the procedure. I left his office feeling very comfortable about the entire process.


The receptionist, Missy and Diana have been GREAT they were very patient with me even though I call every day to find out next steps.

I haven't met Dr. Davidson yet, but being the geeky girl that I am... I have checked out the website and researched his credentials, as well as spoken with a few of his colleges as PRESBY. He comes highly recommended and I am pretty impressed.

I was fortunate to be a nurse at Presby Dallas, and had met Dr. Davidson before even deciding to have WLS. I had the advantage of helping to take care of his patients, and saw how well they did post-op. His demeanor is formal and serious, but I prefer having someone serious taking care of me. I know first-hand that he is a very skilled surgeon, and I would not have chosen anyone else for my WLS. The office staff at BSC Dallas is a definite bonus. After surgery, I called so many times, and they were always patient and answered my questions. The aftercare is the best I've seen. I know several people who had their WLS elsewhere, and I often share information with them regarding diet and health issues that they should know, but don't. When I see how they are struggling, I am so thankful that I had my WLS through BSC Dallas. This is a serious, life-altering procedure, and you cannot be successful without proper education and follow-up. The program director insists that you know what to expect and how to care for yourself after the surgery. Dr. Davidson and BSC Dallas are absolutely the most qualified team for WLS.

Dr. Davidson was wonderful. He quizzed me on the percentages of each risk factor and the amount of weight lost to be expected. He was matter of fact and business like, which I appreciated. The aftercare program is pretty extensive, lasting up to 5 years. His bedside manner was okay to me also.

My only negative experience was with communications on appointment times. The staff was always friendly and professional-even when I expressed my frustration at not receiving return calls.

DrDavidson is a no nonsense Doc. He is very knowledgable about the patient and the procedures he performs. His professionalism is outstanding and as a patient you are at total ease that He is the man to do the job and do it right everytime. I always felt comfortable and at peace with my choice of his services. I will highly recommend him and his staff to everyone and anyone that asks for a referral. He does patient rounds prior to the surgery, the evening of your surgery and then the a.m. and evening until your discharge. He is open to questions and concerns that you/spouse may have.

Dr. Davidson was very informative. He explained the pros and cons of both lap band and gastric bypass. We has very concerned about my diabetes.

My first visit to Dr. Davidson office was on January 13th and between the first visit and before receiving my Surgery Date, the office is going through new processes, procedures and computers. At time it was a little irrating to call and not receive a call back. It was easier to get approved by the insurance company than to get me scheduled for the correct surgery. The staff seems to be very nice and caring just a bit overwhelmed at time.

Dr Davidson seems very serious and very intelligent. I have been warned that he can come off cold but I would much rather have a surgeon that is stern and strict and professional about the major surgery that he is about to perform than a surgeon that is just there to comfort me--that is my husbands job. I do really like him and feel really confident in his ability. His staff is very pleasant and very welcoming. It feels like the beginning of a long friendship. My surgery is scheduled for 3/7 and i am excited and a little nervous. i am very excited about the aftercare program that Dr Davidson and staff require of you. They make sure that you are not left in the dark to figure out all the changes you're going through alone.

My experience with Dr. Davidson as my surgeon was a very good one. Him and his staff were always friendly and helpful. Whenever I had a question or concern, they always took the time to explain everything in great detail. I always had complete confidence in them. His aftercare program is very extensive and helpful. Because I didnt live in Dallas at the time of my surgery, they still made it possible for me to take part in their aftercare program.
Dr. Davidson is a very serious man, dont get me wrong he is a very nice and friendly person. But if you are looking for a surgeon that will joke around with you....he may not be the right one for you.....that is just my personal opinion. But I appreciated his directness because of the seriousness of the surgery.
Overall I would personally give him a 9 out of 10.(10 being the best)

It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Davidson at my consultation on Sept 14, 2004 and to talk with him (pre-op) regarding my sugery.

I did not see Dr. Davidson as dry nor unfriendly. He made my husabnd and I laugh several times during our visit.

I feel very confident that he will do an outstanding job with my surgery (1/27/05)as he has with former patients.
