When my husband and i meet Dr.Boa we felt very at comfortable with him..Very easy to talk too,He answered all our questions and explain everything so we understood it..And May Hoffman she is WONDERFUL..she is very helpful and great to talk too...

Dr. Boe impressed me the moment he walked in the room at my 1st session with him. He came in the room & introduced himself with a smile on his face & alot of confidence glowing fromhis face.

Then he got down to explaining the process of the surgery in detail to my wife & me. He answered every question i had to my sastifaction.

I would not hesitate to recommend DR. BOE to anyone having this surgery.


I WOULD RATE HIM & HIS STAFF A 10 ON A SCALE OF 1-10 WITH 10 BEING THE HIGHEST. I have never had as much trust in any doctor until i met DR. BOE

I had my first consultation with Dr. Boe on July 23, 2002. My first impression of him was that he was a very caring person. He was very friendly. He looks you directly in the eyes when talking to you and makes you feel comfortable right off. He explained things in terms that were easy to understand and did not rush thru things. Just from first impressions I feel very confident in having him as my surgeon.

I immediatly liked Dr. Boe the minute he walked into the room. The nurse who took care of me before I talked to him had nothing but good things to say about him and his ablities. Due to a family emergency, my mom (who was dying to come with me) was unable to attend but sent down a whole list of seperate questions she wanted the answers to. Dr Boe was extremely understanding and answered every single question with open and honest answers. Since he works through the BTC, the aftercare is extremely detailed and up to my standard. I have always been uneasy around doctors but within a minutes of talking to Dr. Boe, all my fears and nervousness were wiped away and I was able to really communicate to him what my concerns were. I walked out of the office happy and with absolutly no unanswered questions. I would suggest Dr. Boe to anyone who is looking into this surgery. My only concern is that while I have no doubt that Dr. Boe is an excellent surgeon with great bedside manner, I was concerned that he is quite young and has only been doing wls for 2 years.

My first impression of Dr. Boe was that he was a great guy! Young, neat, and very friendly, unlike many surgeons. As time has gone on I have seen him when visiting friends at BTC. I was amazed that he knew me and remember specific things about me when he saw me there. Staff was great too, answering any questions I had. There has not yet been anything I disliked about him. Future patients should know that he is human! You can really be honest and say how you feel! He has a way of making you feel like you are his only concern! He was very emphatic about aftercare. He very tactfully addressed the risks of surgery, then put me at ease with his light humor at just the right time. I would rate him THE BEST! His competence I have heard is excellent and I am certain his bedside manner will be great too! I am proud to have him as my surgeon! You would be too!

Liked him very open and honest about the surgery.

His office staff was great, very very helpful.

He was a really nice guy. He answered all my questions. I felt really comfortable speaking with him about the procedure. I look forward to my approval, surgury, and new life.

I met with the surgeon today, and my first impression of him was that he seemed young. No, I'm not talking about Doogie Houser but he is a very attractive young fit doctor. ;)
On the other hand when my hubby and I sat to talk with the dr. it was as if we were watching an infomercial. I know, that he has seen many people and he says the same thing over and over again, but I think that he seems very confident in his work which makes me feel really good considering he's the one who will have a scalpel on my belly.;)
He offered a lot of info to us, and answered everything we had to ask. His staff was friendly I must say that May Hoffman was a doll. She was so happy and friendly towards us, she is 4yrs post-op..and looks great!
So now I'm awaiting approval from the insurance...keep your fingers crossed.

Well, I have to say that I've decided to switch surgeons. I was with my best friend Jennifer F. before surgery, and I must say I really enjoyed talking with Dr.Boe. He's very soothing, comforting, funny...wow maybe I should stop considering I'm a married women. ;) Anyway, I'm planning on calling the BTC when I'm seven months along and going back to consult with Dr. Boe. I'll keep ya all posted.

04-23-02 I talked with Dr. Boe yesterday for my second consult and I can't wait for him operate on me. He is a very confident person and he seems to know exactly all the answers to my questions. I really enjoyed him, he was funny and warm not robotic. He explained everything that I needed to know and didn't rush me at all.

Had a consultation back in Feb. with Dr.Boe things went well he filled me in in all risk factors and postive he was to the point. As far as the staff i spoke with were helpful and informativ. look foward to 2nd meeting with Dr.Boe soon.
