Anytime Fitness

168.2   Stephanie and I went to our local Anytime Fitness tonight and tried it out using a guest pass she had. We did 15 mins on the treadmill then I biked for 15 mins and she did the stair climber. Then we did all the weight machines for your arms and legs. Then we did 15 mins on the eliptical.

It was fun. She is going to get a membership. I workout at home.

My best friend Stephanie and I went to Trader Joe's and decided we would workout together later. She ended up coming over and we did Burn It Up! Wow was that ever a good workout. I really pushed it hard, probably since she was here. She did too. Whenever we workout together we both really push it and end up having a great workout. I think I might workout after work this week. Waking up so dang early is really tiring me out.

I went grocery shopping today, picked up some unsalted soy nuts and some Geni Soy Soy Crisps and portioned them out. I also got some chili and portioned that out as well. I really need to take some 2 month pictures. Now I broke my mom's camera so it might be a little while before I get new pictures.

SMALL SCRUBS!!!!!!!

170.6   WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other day I noticed my medium scrub top was baggy. The next day I thought I would try on a small top and see how far from fitting into it I was. I laid out a small and a medium (for when the small doesn't fit). I put the small on, and it fit!!! I was in the middle of talking with someone as I put it on and I just dropped my jaw and my eyes were huge, I almost cried!!! I couldn't believe it!!! A small!!!!

Then yesterday I couldn't find a big enough small after trying 2 different tops so I gave up and put on a medium, but today a small fit again. LOL We have different sized scrubs even if they say they're the same size. I also tried on small scrub pants and they fit today!!!!

I can't believe I am in smalls already and how fast this is going!! It's great! I love it!!

I tried on some old skirts from 4 or so years ago when I had lost about 35lbs and got down to the smallest I had ever been and they fit, they're snug but they fit!! I am pretty much at the point where I am the smallest I have ever been. From here on out it's unchartered territory.

Burn It Up!

I started Burn It Up! this morning. It went much better than last weeks attempt at BIU. I kept up with it a lot better and went pretty much to the end. At the end I ran out of gusto and didn't do the last couple of exercises. That's ok though with me. I will work up to it. I couldn't keep up with SIU or RIU when I first began either.

I can't wait to see how well I progress through BIU until I can keep up with the whole thing. On my last day of doing RIU I had my mom check my form for me. She said it was perfect with the people on the TV. That's good. I wish I had walls of mirrors so I could watch my form.

Today is my 2 month surgiversary! I will have to have some pics taken later tonight. I love this surgery!!

I ran into someone from High School on Friday night. She recognized me. Maybe in another 45lbs I won't be recognizable? LOL

3 weeks of SI6 DONE!!!

174   Three more weeks. I plan to do Burn It Up for the rest of the time. It's a really tough workout. In the past week alone I am down 1" off of my chest, waist, abdomen and hips each!!! How awesome is that?!?!

I will take a 2 month pic tomorrow, but I am sitting here in my size 11 jeans!! I can't believe it. 13's and 11's and a 12 fit me.

Exercise has been going great. I am super addicted to working out. It feels so good!!

176.8   Tomorrow I will be finishing up week 3 of my SI6 workout program. Sunday morning will be the measuring day, I can't wait to see the difference in inches!! My 36 bra I just got is already loose!! LOL

My alarm didn't go off this morning so I didn't get my workout in before work so I have to do it after I finish typing this. I tried Burn It Up on Monday but I wasn't 'feeling' it and it wasn't a very good workout for me that day. So the next day I went back to RIU and I have been pushing it ever since everyday to keep up and really work hard all week. I can keep up with RIU great. I will move on to BIU on Monday. Hopefully it won't take me too long to be able to keep up with all of BIU, a week or a little more. I like being able to keep up! LOL

I'm very proud of myself for not missing any workout days and for really pushing it this week to really master RIU.

Also, I have been doing pretty good on water, better than I had been doing. I was finding cold or cool water to be difficult. Warm liquids go down great though so I have a stock of SF Alpine Spiced Cider, Oolong tea, Decaf Lipton, and some green tea.  Which also has me taking my actigal the past couple of days! :)

60lbs!!!

179   I am down 60lbs since I started this journey!! I can't believe it. This is by far the most weight I have ever lost!!

I have been diligently working out daily since I began SI6. I will be finishing up my 2nd week today once I can use the TV. I did Start it Up for the first week, and did Ramp it Up this week. I think I will switch to Burn it Up on Monday....or Wednesday. Very soon anyways.

I looked back at old blogs of mine from when I did SI6 during the summer of 2006. I blogged everyday my progress, and it's amazing to see how much better I am doing this time around compared to back then. I am 50lbs lighter now than I was then. I can't wait to measure tomorrow and see how many inches I have lost.

I have been doing much better with my vitamins, but I am still having a hard time getting all of my water in. I should pick up some more slimfast shakes and use those as one of my protein supplements. I know I am not getting enough protein, but I am doing well on choosing good meals. Protein first, but I still need 2 protein supplements a day. The slimfast has 20g, that would be a great supplement.

180.4   And I didn't lie on my ski rental form about my weight!!! We took the lesson, which turned out to be a HOT instructor that went to our HS and graduated the year after us. I had heard of him before. So ironic. I think my friend and I are going to go see his band play sometime. Just drop in. LOL That would be too funny.

Skiing was a ton of fun and we've decided we're going to go again this season. We had a group of 20 or so people and got the group rate and free lessons.

I finished week one of Slim in 6 on Saturday. I weighed and measured today, in the past 2 weeks I am down an inch on my shoulders, chest and waist. I am down half an inch on my arms and hips. I can't wait to see what this week of Slim in 6 will do for reshaping my body. Last week was the 25 minute Start It Up! video, this week and for a few weeks it will be the 48 minute Ramp It Up!, the second video in the series. Once I master RIU then I move onto the 58 minute Burn It Up! video for the remainder of the 6 days a week for 6 weeks.

Today was supposed to be my day off, instead I did the Slim and 6 Pack video, it's a hard core 12 minute ab routine. I am hoping this will help me hold my stomach tighter thus fitting into smaller pants... LOL....hoping anyways! I think I will try to do it every other day and definitely on my day off each week.

SI6 update

182.6   Today was day 5 of SI6, Sunday will be my day off. I think I will do the abdominal workout that comes on the SI6 dvd on Sunday instead of not doing anything. It's a really tough one and I am sure my abs will be quite sore, but I need to get them into shape, I want to get out of this pants size! I bought a size 14 pair of black pants tonight from Wal-Mart for the wedding I am going to tomorrow. Unfortunately I probably won't get much use out of them at all. They're big in the legs and I am not a huge fan of that fit. I like my legs, I want pants to show off my legs LOL

I found a box of tea in our kitchen, it showed up in a new spot, I know my dad had gotten it somewhere because it is chinese. He was fluent in chinese. It's Oolong Tea. Anyways, I was looking at the label and it's 4.6g of protein for one cup of tea!! It adds up.

Well I better get busy, I have a lot to get done tonight still, and it's already 9pm. I have to wake up early and workout and get pretty. And find a bra!! I should be posting new pics tomorrow once I am done all up.

I am so sore!! It feels so good though!!

I didn't weigh today, but I did SI6 this morning at 4:30am!! I love it. I am so incredibly sore, stairs are sooooo hard. Especially going down the stairs. I walk slow and funny and I have to brace myself when I sit or get up from sitting. The more water I drink and the more I stretch the better I will feel when I wake up to workout again tomorrow morning

I am so glad I started SI6 when I did, otherwise I would be this sore when I go skiing on Sunday, I should be feeling much better by tomorrow. I have done SI6 before in the past, and this is how it always is, this incredibly sore in the beginning.

Well I can't sit for too long or I really stiffen up. I got a yoga kit for Christmas, it came with a brick, strap, mat and dvd. I did a 20 minute yoga yesterday, I am going to try a different one today. I can ALMOST do a downward dog!!

Oooh, and I got to work with my doctor again today!!!

Have I mentioned lately how much I love yoga? LOL I am sounding like my best friend Stephanie, she's been telling me this for about a month now I would say and I finally tried it and got the kit for Christmas and did it today and yesterday. I LOVE YOGA!!! Now I am going to go put in a different yoga video and do that one, it's a long one but no one is home and I have peace and quiet. :)
