I was very confident with Scripts Mercy Hospital. They did a wonderful job taken care of my needs. And my surgeons did an excellent job with my OPEN RNY. No complications at all. The nursing staff were very friendly and helpful. They treated you like a human being . Unlike some hospitals I know who were very predjudice to obese people.Over all I had a wonderful exsperience at this hospital.

I never wanted or needed anything they were always there. I almost felt like I was on a vacation. They took excellent care of me. I don't think any hospital will hold up after my experience with Scripps.

This hospital was the best thing about this surgery so far. From the first time I stepped foot in the pre-op room, everyone was superb. I was very scared and everone there from the I.V. nurse, to the ansthsia nurse, to the accual surgeon, to all my nurses on the accual recovery room they were magnificiant. My hospital stay was more like a hotel stay. Every time I pushed the button for help they were right there. Even when I didn't push the button, nurses would come in and ask me if everything was o.k. and if I needed more pain meds,ice chips, or anything else. They never made me feel like I was interrupting them,ever. I had to kept calling on the nursres day and nite because I kept rolling over my I.V. cords when I would get back into bed. They were very perfesional and curtious. I can't say enough about this hospital. If you have a chance to choose your hospital, this would be the one. You will never get better care anywhere. I was so lucky that I was able to have my stay there.

Of all the staff that I met for my stay in Scripps Mercy, there was only _one_ nurse who was not a bubbling joyful note of sunshine. They were sensitive, solicitous and responded everytime there was a need.

Every single member of the staff that I came in contact with was EXCELLENT! They could not have been more helpful, professional, and pleasant. I thought I was at Disneyland! They are also, VERY prepared for Bariatric patients. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with my first hospital stay.
