I think the hosptial was pretty nice. The only problems I had were: My room was close to an exit door so a lot of people/staff/visitors used that door and it was noisy. The other thing that bothered me was that this is a teaching hospital and I felt that I had problems with my IV because the nurses handling it were new and being trained. My IV infiltrated several times. But, they were very nice and we got thru it.

Excellent Pre Surgery information. The nurses were courteous, professional and helpful. I enjoyed my 5 day stay at this hospital.

All bariatric patients are on the 7th floor so the nursing staff is very knowledgable in caring for our post-op needs. I was very pleased with all but one nurse. My roomate and I both agreed that she was not as caring as all the others. I give this hospitals bariatrics floor, 2 thumbs up!

I was in the hospital a month, and had great care, they made sure I had a private room. I was made to feel well cared for.

Well kept hospital, great staff, caring and understanding about people of size...If only other hospitals that are going to invite doctors/surgeons to do bypass surgeries at their hospitals would use Scripps as a teacher then maybe everyone that decides to have gb would have a great stay as I did...To many hospitals do not accommodate the bariatric patient...They are in it for the money only and don't provide quality care...

The only reason I rated them poor on the quiet experience is because I had very loud "roomates"

My hospital stay went very well. They bug you alot to get your vital's and stuff. But I had a special bed, and I believe that made my stay alot more comfortable than if I would have stayed in a normal bed. I had a bariatric bed made for people who are over 375 lbs I believe.
