Scripps Mercy Hospital (COE) Hospital

Hospital and staff are excellent. The only problem is that you don't have your own room, I was on a bed that did not work, could not raise it up or down.

My experience was excellent. Everyone was great from the front desk to every nurse and employee I came in contact with. Not one complaint!

I had wonderful nurses on the 7th floor. They were very attentive and caring. They came by my room often to see if I needed anything even when I hadn't called them. When I did call them they responded in a timely manner and were always courteous. On another note the recovery room nurses left much to be desired. They were kinda rude.

I was comfortable from the min i got there. Staff was encouraging and supportive. Answered all questions. I loved the hospital and would recommend it over and over again!

Everything was excellent EXCEPT the night staff, they were loud and didn't care we were trying to sleep, and just kep laughing, talking very LOUD. I had to get up to close my door. That made me very very unhappy!!!

I was very impressed with how nice and clean everything was, everybody was so nice. I would recomend this hospital to everybody! LOVED IT!

I felt at ease during my entire stay.

Nursing staff was not attentive. My urine collection recepticle was overflowing. I asked 4 times to hve it emptyied and was ignored. I had to do it myself. My bed linen was not changed in the 3 days I was there. Pre-admission appointments were 1/2 hr. late starting. My admission was 1 hr. late before I was acknowledged and brought back to start the process.

There is such an amazing feeling of fellowship here! Everyone is so nice! And they go out of their way to make sure that you have everything that you need, and to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible. Scripps Mercy is the best!
