I can honestly say that I didn't have one bad expierence here. Surgeon, and staff are unbelievably great! Best expierence in hospital ever. They are so professional and well equipt! This is truly the best place to go for surgery. And Dr. Rumsey, is by far the best doc. I have ever had in my life.

Now they are doing surgery about 20 minutes away from my home and if they gave me a choice I would still pick Scripps Mercy

I had a really hard time postop -- needed two blood transfusions 2nd day postop -- when I needed my pain meds about 12 hours post surgery, I had to repeatedly call the nurses who kept promising they would "be right there" for ONE HOUR in terrible pain. Finally, crying, I called my husband who was 45 minutes away (this was about 9:00 pm) who called the hospital from an outside line, trying to contact the nurses station. when he finally got through, they put him on hold and never came back! Finally I yelled out into the hallway for someone passing to help, and they summoned the nurse. Terrible staff here. I wouldn't take my cat to this place.

The Nurses were great! The PT was wonderful! The OR Staff was excellent! They made me feel at ease and just overall "good"!

I would definetly recommend this hospital to anyone that is considering having WLS. The staff here was very polite and always made sure that your were comfortable.

The nurses were great. Especially, the night nurses. They put me at ease. They caught things before there were any problems. Everyone made me feel like I was special and the most important. For that, I am forever grateful.

I don't think I met one rude person at this hospital. Everybody was happy, helpful, and on top of everything. I had a great experience, and would highly recommend anybody to stay here for any procedure. I didn't want to leave. It was also a very clean place. I find that very important.
