Scripps Mercy Hospital (COE) Hospital
The nurses were nice, overly worked and stressed between patients; constantly getting paged while they are helping with others. The bathroom and slower could be bigger to accomidate overweight patients, and the shower seat I wouldn't even bother trying to sit on since it's 3 inches wide in the widest area against the wall in a triangle shape.
The team prepared me for surgery was great- very caring, skilled and professional. I would also describe the vast majority of the nurses that cared for me post-op that way as well. I think they may be a little understaffed though, sometimes it would take a long time to get ice or fluids or to get the IV plugged back in after being up. They were always concerned about my pain level and encouraged me to use my morphine pump as needed.
