Scripps Mercy Hospital (COE) Hospital
The first night was good. I had a very nice lady in the other bed. The second night was horrible. The new patient was a 85 year old woman that belonged on the regular floor but her family felt she was not receiving quality care. So the family had her transferred to the Surgical floor. She moaned all night for a nurse and even told me to get up and get one. She had to be changed several times in the middle of the night the smell was unbeariable. The last night I was there I asked if I could have some benedryl to help me sleep through the night. The nurses were so nice and I didn't remember much that night other than an occasional bad smell. I understand it wasn't the nurses fault it just sucked to be me. I couldn't wait to check out.
I loved the hospital and staff they were responsive ,sensitive, respectful, and caring when I left I gave every one a hug because the became friends to me ,(one nurse the night one took care of me like my mommy would )I had a night mare and was p and scared from it she came right in and made sure I was ok and sat with me for a while to make sure I was ok
