Two day nurses Anna a Narrissa were totally incompetent. Let my Iv run dry. Refused to help me shower and left me after my shower without any assistance to get back into bed. This gruesome twosome are to be avoided at all costs. The took hours to respond to calls for help and were rude and racist towards patients. Both received repremands from the nursing supervisor and one was moved to another floor for the duration of the shift. I finally insisted that neither of them come near me for the rest of my stay. A man who had surgery the same day had them also and did not see them except for onve the whole 12 hour shift. The reast of the nurses were excellent especially Conception and KathyG. Paul the night nurse was fantastic too

The nurses were absolutely INCREDIBLE! They were caring and FUN to be with.

THE NURSING STAFF WERE A BUNCH OF ANGELS. MY WIFE AND I ARE FROM ORANGE COUNTY AND THE HOSPITAL IS IN SAN DIEGO, THEY MADE IT SEEM AS IF WE WERE AT HOME INSTEAD OF 100 MILES AWAY FROM HOME.

The hospital compares to Kaiser, but parking is horrendously expensive for visitors. Kaiser's parking is better and cheaper too.

The nursing staff at Scripps is Excellent. They were so attentive and were always there to help me when I needed it. I would recommend this hospital to anyone that is going through WLS.

The whole staff even the cleaning staff were very nice to me.
The hospital was super clean, put me in with another patient that I picked prior to my surgery. I met someone at the pre-surgury clinic and we hit it off so we both asked to be placed together. this was great because we still contact each other 2 yrs later.
