I thought they were short staffed
They did not provide chairs that obese people could sit in comfortably and get in and out of post-op.

If you feel uncomfortable with someone ask for another person and talk to them and dont feel bad to ask for what you need.

WELL, I WILL SAY THEY SHOULD NOT TAKE GASTRIC BYPASS PATIENTS. THEY ARE NOT EQUIPPED FOR THEM AND THEY EVEN TOLD A PATIENT THAT THEY WERE JUST TOO LARGE FOR THEIR NURSES TO PULL OUT OF BED, SO THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET UP AND WALK ALONE.

Pre-op was a good experience, evryone was nice. I did everything I was supposed to do without help, so I was kind of ignored post op. I never asked for any help as I was doing pretty well on my own.

Hospital was wonderful. I had great nursing care, my visitors could come and visit, and it was a peaceful encounter.

So far, I've only gone there three times, two classes having to do with WLS and the initial app process. The people have been great. However, the handicapped parking is in the structure at the rear of several other huge structures. They do have a tram, but you have to be able to walk to where the tram picks you up. The only way I can deal with this hospital at this time is to have someone take me and drop me at the front door every time. Also, one time they were very good about having a wheelchair for me, but the other times were not helpful even though I called. I was on my own.

This hospital was great. The staff was caring, and did whatever they could to help you out. The encouraged, and were generally interested in you as a person. One of the nurses had WLS, and she was quite an inspiration to me. I would say that this hospital is the best!!!!

Not very consistent care. Some staff shifts were excellent, others mediocre to poor.
