First impression was that he was very caring and wanted to make sure my husband and I understood the principles behind weight loss and the RNY procedure. He is a no-nonsense guy and expects you to follow his instructions. Office staff is nice and knowledgeable. There was an initial mix-up regarding which insurance company would be responsible (mine or my husband's ) and that delayed things 3 months. I had to change my medical group to the one Dr. Wetter was in so that I could use him under my HealthNet HMO and not my husband's Blue Cross PPO (you first must use your primary insurance). After care was emphasized pretty well, especially through the hospital staff and nutritionists. Risks were identified, but I knew them mostly from research done by myself on the internet. I would rate Dr. Wetter as 10/10 both as a surgeon and physician. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are the best! I highly recommend him.

I interviewed two other Northern California bariatric surgeons before selecting Dr. Feng and simply cannot recommend him highly enough. He's very knowledgeable and possesses the unique combination of an amazing “bedside manner” and surgical excellence that I wish more physicians had. His office staff is amazing and, while I know he has a busy practice, I have always been made to feel they were personally invested in my weight loss success.rnrnIf you're considering WLS you really owe it to yourself to meet with Dr. Feng. I'm certain you'll be as impressed with him as I am. rnrnIf have any questions that relate to my experience, please feel free to message me here.

I absolutely cherish my surgeon. She is clear and firm -- which is exactly what I need!

Doctor Feng and his Office Manager, Shelley, are absolutely wonderful about getting back to you very quickly. Doctor Feng takes a lot of time with you to explain procedures and answer questions.

When I first met Dr.Foster I wasn't sure which surgery to have. She was very sensitive to me and also very professional.I went back several times before decided on the band.Shernis very firm in her WLS and expects her patients to be too.She was always very helpful and available prior, through and after surgery.rnI can't say enough about her staff.Yvette is a doll. She has been so helpful and supportive to me.I look foward to my office visits.rnI think future patients should be as informed as they can be on the surgery and what to expect. Then discuss with your doctor all they expect.rnI have to say Dr.Foster overall was best in all aspects- surgical competence, bedside manner, and real care and concern for you thernperson.

I had Dr. John Rabkin, of Pacific Laparoscopy in San Francisco. I absolutely LOVE this man, he's a total sweetheart, VERY concerned with how you are doing, takes the time to answer all your questions. I would recomend him ANYtime, to ANYone!!!

Dr. Foster is very intelligent, caring, strong, funny, and attractive. She will not take any B.S. and that is great with me. She wants only patients she believes will be successful. She has an excellent staff. She goes overall the benefits and risks of surgery with great detail. I look forward to having a strong relationship and her support as I know this will be one of the most important decisions of my life.

Felt comfortable with him and his assistant right away. Very rare with a doctor, in my experience. So far, so good!

rnMy first impression of Dr. Wetter was he seemed very confident in what he does and had done many lapriscopic RNY procedures. He is to the point and no non-sence kinda guy. Not warm and fuzzy at all. I prefer competence and experiance over warm and fuzzy anyway. He told me to think of quality of quanity when it came to food. Saver a small piece fo chocolate because the first bite is always the best, the second confirms the first and then it will not taste as good as the 1st and 2nd bite. Not much of an aftercare program. I am also out of the area and cannot go to the support group meetings in Burlingame. I have found my own support group where I live and have met many other post -ops that have been very helpful to me. So far I am very happy with Dr. Wetter and I would give him very high ratings. I am saying this 2 weeks post-op

Dr. Foster left a great first impression on me. She was very detailed in taking my history, considering if I was a candidate, discussing my options and then telling me what to expect. rnrnHer staff is also amazing (truly). They are all very personable. But I do find that the office usually runs behind on appts.rnrnDr. Foster provides you information about the support group (through the hospital), and after care.rnrnDr. Foster was recommended by several of my co-workers and I too recommend her as well.
