I had a wonderfull stay.

Overall clean and professional environment

physicians and OR nurses excellent. Nursing staff while staying in the hospital was not helpful, even seemed put out to have to come when called.

From the preop desk to the moment I left. I did not have a negative experience at all.

The day surgery staff was excellent. Really made you feel at ease. Halfway through the surgery the nurse came out to the waiting room and told my spouse and daughter how surgery was progressing and that I was doing fine. This was above board!!!! Really made an impression!!

THE ONLY GOOD NURSE I HAD WAS THE DAY I LEFT. THE 2 DAYS BEFORE THE NURSES WERE IDIOTS. MY NIGHT NURSE COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY MY IV PUMP WAS BEEPING. SO I LOOK AT IT AND ON THE SREEN IT'S FLASHING THE WORDS BATTERY LOW. THEN MY DAY NURSE TELLS ME AT 9AM THAT SHE'LL BE BACK IN TEM MINUTES TO BRING ME TOWELS AND WRAP MY HAND WITH THE IV SO I CAN TAKE A LONG AWAITED SHOWER. YEAH I DIDN'T SEE HER AGAIN UNTIL 12:30P. THEN THE SALINE SOLUTION WOULD GET LOW AND MY PUMP WOULD START BEEPING SO I WOULD HIT THE NURSES BUTTON AND ASK FOR HER TO CHANGE IT. BUT I ALWAYS ENDED UP GETTING UP AND GOING OUT TO THE HALL AND GETTING SOME OTHER POOR NURSE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I GUESS I JUST GOT THE LUCK OF THE DRAW.

I had an almost a 100% perfect experience if it were not for one nurse (Shirley) who was on some kind of power trip that was quickly tempered by me!!

They are very familiar with bypass patients as they perfrom this surgery there often. The dietary staff is great, but the menu was surprisingly limited.

Again other than the E/R Staff, Cy-Fair is a top notch facility.

The experience was very good. No complaints except that they should have more private rooms available.

I understand the nursing shortages these days. I don't feel the nurses were bad, but not enough time to give each patient the attention they may need. The Tech's that worked with the nurses were not very good at all!
