Dr Dyer is a very competent surgeon and comes well recommended...He takes his role very seriously. He made me completely aware of the dangers of this and all surgeries and I cannot say anything but good things about his ability and truthfulness.

My surgery went well and my recovery was quick and everything went as expected.

I recommend that anyone thinking about this surgery invest serious time researching the procedure and make a level headed decision. It was a great decision for me!

Dr. Dyer's nursing staff is great!!!

My first impression of Dr Dyer was that he is a very serious surgeon. He was very informative and seemed to enjoy answering any questions me or my husband had. He wasn't a very laughative doctor though but as long as he's good, I can live with that...since I may not be that funny after all..haha...His office staff was very nice and helpful. Dr Dyer did stress the risk of the surgery. But most things he told me I already knew from researching this for over 2 years..but great for anyone who hasn't. Him and his staff are very pleasant and helpful. After my first visit with Dr. Dyer I have found him to be a very pleasant Surgeon with a better since of humor than I thought...it really was me that wasn't that funny..go figure...

I am no longer going to use Dr. Ponce I have chosen Dr. Douglas Olsen at the Cenntenal center in Nashville. I have my first appointment on Nov.2 04 My first impression of him was that he is very knowlegable about what he does.

The office staff is very informative, understanding, Kind, and helpful.

Dr. Olsen seems very trustworthy and open. I have faith in him and his abilities. He was completely open and honest with me. He went over all the "what ifs" and all the negatives that could happen. He even asked my sister-in-law (who was with me during the appointment) if she had any questions. He was very clear about his expectations of me and the process.

I had some complications six weeks after surgery (pneumonia which required MAJOR surgery) and Dr. Olsen couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. He visited me every day and was on top of all my tests and how I was feeling. He's called me at home several times to check on me. I feel comfortable knowing that he is there should/when I need him.

I thought Dr Dyer was very informative, he is kind of dry, but a very nice guy. His office staff is great. There was really nothing I disliked about any of them. I think they all are great. He emphasizes aftercare alot. Yes they do have aftercare programs. He told me all the risk that was involved in the surgery. I would rate him as a very good doctor and I would and have recommended him several times. I think he's great!!!!!!!!

Dr. Olsen is very warm and friendly. He showed a personal interest in me. The office staff were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Olsen to anyone who is considering having surgery. He really does stress the aftercare of the surgery in letting you know that this is a tool and to use it in a wise way. The way in which he addressed the risk of surgery was very well put. He did not try to "sugar coat" anything. Over all I would have to say that Dr. Olsen has a very positive and reasuring attitude when it comes to his profession. Both the surgical competence and bedside manner were always GREAT!

I have listed Dr. Dyer as my surgeon of choice, mainly because Centinial is where I am planning on going for my seminar, and I have heard only good things about him and the program at Centinial.

When I met Dr. Dyer the first time I felt he was a very understanding caring person. I still feel he is an understanding caring person and I am now three months post op. His office is well equiped for morbidly obese patients and his staff is very nice. I have a lot of scar tissue which could have caused me to have an open RNY instead of lap but Dr. Dyer was very sweet and took the extra time and didn't open me up he stayed with doing the lap. He addressed the risks of the surgery completely. He is a wonderful surgeon and he did a great job.
