“Since my gastric bypass surgery at Centennial on March 2nd, 2001, I have wanted to be a part of their program. On April 16th, 2007 I began working with Centennial’s program and it is truly a blessing to get to come to work here every day. I am responsible for the overall operations of the Center, including our seminars, physician and community outreach and program development. I feel very strongly that each of us are our own best advocate. To me, the Centennial Experience means we are addressing all of our patients needs; whether that is advocating for increased access to and coverage of weight loss surgery or providing one of the largest networks of support groups, both patient led and professional led in the country. I contribute to the Centennial Experience by taking every opportunity to educate individuals on the disease process of obesity, including treatment options and the need for additional research and by advocating for our patients on a daily basis.”
