My first impression of Dr. Douglas Olsen was that he was very informative on the different types of bariatric surgeries that were out there. When he speaks to you he explains everything clearly to make sure that you understand. Dr. Olsen explains all the pros and cons of the surgery. My impression has staed the same. The staff was very nice and they will do what ever they can to try and help you with any questions that you may have. There was not anything about him that I did not like.Dr. Olsen really emphasizes aftercare he wants to make sure that you follow his orders. Cenntennial has a great aftercare program and I can not wait to go.Dr. Olsen made sure I understood the risk of this surgery and made sure I was aware of everything that could possibly happen. I would rate Dr. Olsen 10.Both are great competence, and bed side manners.

HE IS A VERY NICE AND COMPASSIONATE MAN. HE HAS A VERY GOOD BEDSIDE MANNER.tHE OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL. I RECOMMEND ANYBODY CONSIDERING BARIATRIC SURGERY TO SEE THIS DOCTOR.

My first impression of Dr. Dyer (as with all doctors, I'm afraid) is that he was just doing a job. Over time, I realized he does care even though he does not show a lot of emotion. His staff is excellent and very caring. I think the thing I least like about him is the fact that he doesn't spend too much time with the patients, but I do realize he is very busy. My time is just as important, though. I hope that he and any doctor can realize that. He does emphasize aftercare very strongly and they do have a very structured aftercare program. Dr. Dyer addressed all the risks of surgery. Overall, I would rate Dr. Dyer a very competent surgeon.

Wonderful. Very professional, knowledgable. He made me feel like I was in very good hands. Still feel the same after eight months of post-op care. Office staff is terrific. Very caring and genuinely happy for me. There is nothing I don't like about my experience with Dr. Olsen. You can't go wrong with him. Considers the after care program to be the most important aspect of the surgery...stresses going to the support group meetings. Was very upfront and honest about the risks. Excellent...four stars! Surgical competence excellent, very direct bedside manner, which is what I was looking for. Doesn't sugarcoat anything...tells it like it is.

He seemed to be nice. He went over all of the risks and benefits with me. His nurse was very nice and helpful. I really liked the chairs in his office, the were oversized. I had read on the website that others did not like his bedside manner. I had no problems with him whatsoever. I would rate him a 10. I would definitely recommend him to other patients. I received a binder with everything to expect after the surgery. I have to bring the binder with me to all of my appts.

Dr Dyer is very direct, but he cares about his patients very much. The office staff is wonderful and the staff on the 3rd Floor of the women's hospital are the most wonderful people I have ever meet. Centennial has a great after care program. I am only 5 days post-op, so I have not taken advantage yet of all of their offers.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. DYER WAS HE IS POFESSIONAL, SPEAKS WELL, AND HE CARES.

Dr Olson was very thorough in his explanations. He was easy to talk to and he encouraged me to ask questions. I have only met with him the one time.

His staff is exceptional. Every person I have come in contact has been very helpful.

I did not find anything I did not like about Dr. Olsen.

You should know that Dr. Olsen expects you
to do your part in making the surgery work.
They stress very much the need for support and returning for all scheduled appointments. It is a lifetime relationship you are starting with your surgeon. The center gives you all available information about your aftercare and the support available for you.

At the seminar you are given written information about the risks and Dr. Olsen goes over them again when you meet with him.

For my post op rating he is a 10.

surgical competence is the most important but the bedside manner makes it easier.
