Dr. Olsen was very thorough in explaining the procedure, what to expect after surgery, and what life would be like in the years to follow. He listened to all of my questions, and answered all of my questions, most of them before I even asked. I feel very confident in him as my doctor.

I liked Dr. Dyer from the very beginning. He is very professional and took the time to explain everything I needed to know. He did a wonderful job explaining all the risks and benefits of the surgery. He stressed the importance of aftercare and since I had the lap band, the importance of adjustments. I think he is very nice and had a good bedside manner. He made sure to keep my family informed the day of my surgery. He also gives you encouragement along the way. Every visit he tells me how good I'm doing, that is always something you need to hear! His staff is also just as helpful and nice. I've always been greeted with a smile. I would highly recommend Dr. Dyer and will shout his praises!!

Dr. Dyer and his staff are wonderful! They have made every effort to make sure that I had all of the facts about the surgery. Dr. Dyer is very professional and pays attention to detail.
Overall, the experience was a positive one and I would recommend him to anyone interested in this type of surgery.

Dr. Olsen is very blunt and serious about his work. But he just wants me to succeed he has seen so many fail after the first year.
He doea have a very stern bed-side manner.
aftercare programs are very important to him.
Overall I a give a 9 *(bedside manner).

My first impression of Dr. Dyer was that he was extremly professional and good at his job. He wanted to ensure I was making the surgical decision on my own and that I was sure about it. He also informed me of the risk and positive outcomes of the surgery. My impression of him has not change, it has been confirmed. His office staff was friendly, elpful and professional. I have not found a dislike yet. He strongly emphasized aftercare of eating, group sessions, wound care, and exercise. He does have a aftercare program and I found the aftercare needs near my home with the help of his staff. I would rate him a 10 because he made me feel safe and cared for in the hospital. He came to the room two or three times a day. His bedside manner was good. I do not expect funny conversations with my doctor. As far as his bedside manner and competence,He was direct in how I could help my healing process and prevent clotting or other complications. I needed a good doctor at the time and that is what he was.

Dr. Dyer is a very straight forward person. He is open and blunt about what needs to happen for you to lose weight. I respect him and his advice. His office personnel are extremely helpful, kind, and caring. Dr. Dyer believes that after care is probably the most important thing about the surgery. He was upfront and blunt about the risks of the surgery as well as the possibly of gaining weight back if I failed to follow the plan. I would give Dr. Dyer, his staff, and Centennial Hospital an A++++. I wish that I was closer and could partake of the support groups in Nashville.

His office was very roomy and open. His staff was also very kind and caring. They really talked with you not to you. They are also former patients of the doctors in that office. When I met Dr.Olsen he seemed very approcable. He spent about an hour with me, describing every detail of the surgery, the whys and hows and every aspect of it. Not only did he discuss the health benifits but he also went into detail about my emotional and social life. He also stresses about WLS being a tool and I must have a lifetime change. He is very firm about his aftercare program. He was also able to tell me detail for detail about everything from the moment I enter the hospital through the next year. He was also able to answer my question about the ant. when my previous doctor either wouldn't or couldn't. He does surgery a little different and has an after diet program a lot different then my previous doctor. Before I had always had fear and reservations. After meeting with Olsen it felt as if a weight had been taken off of me. I am complete relaxed and confident about the surgery. I also feel as if him and any of his staff would be there for me whenever needed. I think he is completely wonder as well as his staff.

Very knowledgeable!!
Very nice office staff
I liked the fact that he actually asked my wife if she was supportive of my decision to have WLS. He wants to ensure that I have a base of support to ensure my success.
