The staff was great but I don't feel they did anything extra or special to help me. THey came and checked on me when they had to and that was it. Nothing extra. BUt the staff was nice in every dealing I had with them. I wish I could say the same for the surgeons.

I would NOT recommend anyone going to this hospital. The facilities are old and in need of repair. The staff is VERY slow to respond to any request.

The hospital stay was great. They handled everything in a timely matter. I had a problem with one nurse she made me cry but all the other nurses told me they would make up for her mistakes and they did. The pain meds were a joke morphine pump I didn't see how it helped but I wasn't in that much pain. Everything and everybody else was great and I enjoyed my stay

I was lucky in having a room away from the helicopter pad I was warned about. I had big windows with a wonderful view. All the staff were caring and cheerful. Each nurse is given a phone to carry with them and you are given that number so you can contact your nurse directly. I loved that. I had a problem with beeping of my IV machine that drove me crazy. They would comefix it everytime I called but it would start up again. Then my last day I had David as my nurse. I told him the problem and in 5 minutes he got me a new machine and had no more beeps. David is wonderful.

They are understaffed. I had to ring my bell to get my nurse to come and it would take her forever. It took them hours to check me out, because they kept forgetting about me. Also, they kept forgetting to bring me my juice and ice.

I had an excellent experience at Atlanta Medical center. I had NO complaints at all. I was only there for 30 hours and every hour I felt my needs were met as well as I had excellent nurses taking care of me! No complaints at all!

The hospital staff was professional, friendly and accomodating. I felt comfortable from the office staff to the nurses and physicians. I would reccomend this hospital to anyone having any type of surgery.
