I met Dr. Hoehn at the seminar for WLS. He seemed very nice. I found him to be very knowledgable, understanding, and caring. It is nice that he takes the time to answer all your questions that you have each time that you see him. I don't feel rushed and I have a lot of confidence in his abilities.
I met Nola (program director) at the seminar and have had a chance to talk to her a few times. She is one busy lady :-), but she is very understanding of exactly what kind of hope we feel when turning things over to her.
Billie has been a big help also in all that I have encountered.
I feel very fortunate to have such a great team behind me!
I enjoyed meeting Dr. Hoehn at the seminar. He answered every question I had and explained everything about the surgery.....the good, the bad and the ugly. Several people I know have had surgery performed by Dr. Hoehn and I'm beginning to see why they think so highly of him. I'm looking forward to being able to have a consultation once my insurance has been approved.
I really enjoyed having my first consultation with Dr. Hoehn...I told him I felt like a kid getting to see Santa Claus he laughed.....but I was serious this man is going to help change my life you bet I was excited being able to finally sit down and talk to him. I know I have made the right decision picking Dr. Hoehn as my surgeon. June 20th is right around the corner.
I really like Dr. Hoehn... and my sister thinks he's hot. Okay, I think so too. Anyway, he's very nice and answered all the questions I had. His staff has been wonderful. It was a shorter meeting than I imagined, but we really didn't have much to say. I knew I was having the surgery and he said he'd do it. That'll do!
When I first saw Dr. Hoehn, it was during a bariatric surgery seminar that he and Dr. Hitchcock presented together. My first impression of him was how serious he seemed to be! I'd spoken with several different surgeons, but for some reason I was instantly impressed with Dr. Hoehn. A good part of it had to be his earnest and caring demeanor. When I met with him in his office, I was even more impressed with his confidence and honesty, and was instantly comfortable with the thought of him performing surgery on me. His office staff is friendly, helpful, and absolutely wonderful and I adore each and every one of them. The aftercare program is well structured, and getting in touch with someone when I had a question or concern was always easy. I adore Dr. Hoehn, and admire the work he does. I have absolutely no problem recommending him to anyone. I've trusted him with my life, and he came through with flying colors. The best thing about him is not only his surgical competence, but his bedside manner. He's not arrogant, but genuine, friendly, and caring about his patients. We're not just numbers to him, we're people, and that's one of his best qualities. I know this website says that 100% positive reviews can be less informative, I guess they want me to say something negative. I'll leave that to someone else, I have nothing negative to say.
Dr. Hoehn is a quiet man, but encouraging. This staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Dr. Hoehn's office does take steps to meet the needs of their patients both before and after surgery. I would recommend Dr. Hoehn to others looking into having this procedure done. In my opinion, surgical competence is the most important; you can get a friend or loved one to help at the bedside.
My first impression of Dr. Hoehn,he's very young but was very professional and displayed the quality that he had great knowledge of what he is doing.
Very caring about his work and seems very dedicated to improvements to his field to helping others from his position.
Very straight forward with his information of the surgery and what to expect.
Thus far, I am very pleased with having him as my surgeon.
