Brice Hamilton Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Brice Hamilton is an integral part of KC Bariatrics, where he believes all patients are deserving of a compassionate, involved physician who will help guide them on their weight loss journey. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, in 1993 from Transylvania University, he graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee in 1997.  He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center from 1997-2002.  Dr. Hamilton is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. As an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Hamilton is the President elect of the Kansas ASMBS Chapter.  An accomplished General and Bariatric Surgeon, having practiced in Tennessee and Indiana where he founded bariatric programs for Horizon Medical Center and Clark Memorial Hospital.  After returning to the Kansas City area, he has targeted his focus at KC Bariatrics where he is now able to exclusively do Weight Loss Surgery. Dr. Hamilton has performed over 1,000 weight loss operations and believes successful weight loss requires a multifaceted approach.  Dr. Hamilton and KC Bariatrics are dedicated to ensuring that their patients have all of the tools that they need maintain a lifetime of success.
