I was very impressed with Dr. Hoehn's knowledge at the WLS I attended in May 2005. I have been very impressed with the enitre setup at SMMC. I had done a lot of research on WLS and even attended other seminars. I felt very comfortable meeting with him and the staff at SMMC. Everyone I have met with has been Awesome! The criteria a patient has to meet and testing you undergo is incredible. They really make sure you are on track mentally and physically! I am very satisified with my Surgeon selection!!
My first impression of Dr Hoehn is that he is very nice looking but still very nice and not judgemental. His office and staff that works there are great. Everything about him and his staff so far are awsome. I did feel that i maybe should have met with him another time prior to surgery. I had one office visit with him and then spoke with him for about 1 minute prior to surgery but even with this i have no complaints at all. Highest ratings.
My first impression of Dr. Hoehn was when I went to the informational seminar. I thought he seemed very informative and really personable. At my consult I got to meet with him again and he and his staff were a very very friendly group of people. At my consult his bedside manner and sense of humor came out. I think if I had to choose again I would choose him. My impression of Dr. Hoehn just got better and better each time I talked with him and his staff. I would rate Dr. Hoehn a 10+ out of a 0 to 10 with a 10 being the best.
My first impression of Dr. Hoehn was pretty much biased. I had read so many comments that I sort of knew what to expect. He was very knowledgable and professional, and so young! He answered all of my questions, even my goofy ones. His staff is excellent, professional and supportive. He has a very positive outlook on this surgery and he expects you to do your part. I haven't had the surgery yet, but I expect him to be competent and thorough. And I really like his socks!
I first met Dr. Hoehn at his seminar on March 21, 2005. I felt at the time that he was very sincere about the program, and really knew his stuff. After meeting him again for first consult, I have the same opinion. He is a very intelligent man, who seems to want to do the best he can for his bariatric patients. Dr. Hoehn and his program have an excellent staff, which stresses close post-op follow up. The pre-op workup, however tedious it seems, is probably for the patients own good. I suppose this is why Dr. Hoehn and Hitchcock have such a low incidence of post-op complications. So far, I would rate Dr. Hoehn an A+
6/13 I attended the KC Bariatric Surgery informational seminar. Dr. Hoehn was quick yet thorough with his powerpoint presentation. He seemed to have a dry but genuine sense of humor and the utmost confidence about this surgery. Even my sister who came for moral support was enthusiastic about his professionalism. The psychiatrist, Dr. Sabapathy was very warm and inviting and discussed how he would be happy to include family members in the therapy process. I have nothing but good things so far about Nola and Billie from the staff who took time to answer our many insurance questions. Looking forward to dealing with this office hopefully for surgery in the near futre!
