I can not rave enough about Dr. Francis. I did a lot of research before choosing my surgeon, and could not be more pleased. Dr. Francis is young, adorable, kind, extremely qualified and hard-working. Her office staff is wonderful. Brandy is the girl I dealt with the most. She is efficient, smart, funny, compassionate and very good at her job. I was very well-informed about the future and the risks of surgery. The only component of the "process" I did not think was top-notch was the nutrition class. I may go to another one if led by someone else. However, I rate Dr. Francis a 10 in all areas.

Dr Kelly Francis is absolutely THE BEST surgeon. Not only is she compassionate she really truely cares. She cares about life situations at home and is willing to give free advise and optional treatments. About 4 months ago I had a leak in my new pouch and was knocking on deaths door at a Navel hospital. Dr Francis fought with these doctors for 16 hours begging for me to be transfered by ambulance to her facility. She saved my life being only hours from death. She is an angel and all my gratitude goes to her. I was given a second chance at life because of her. My husband was away at war while all of this was going on and I had 3 small children. Dr Francis held my hand through it all and helped me through this troubling time. I only wish she was a regular doctor as well as I don't ever want to be out of her care. Dr. francis will not beat around the bush and she is very very thourgh. Her office is easy to find and the staff are so nice and very helpful. If you are looking for a very good surgeon Dr. Francis is your woman!!! Good luck to all of you.And God Bless!!!

She did my doctors talk and she came highly recommended by a previous patient. I met with her for the one on one and saw her briefly before surgery in the holding room.
The PA's handle most of the post op care. My hospital experience was horrible. The nursing care was non existant, regular food was brought to me, no help getting in or out of bed, iv bags needed to be changed and went unnoticed, no adls or pressure booties.
I strugged with a stricture which was tended to by another physician and I currently struggle with eating disorder. I do not.... to this date get any response when calling the office with questions. I last saw them around my ninth month and I haven't been seen in the office since.
It seems that once the surgery is over, you concerns aren't met.
If it wasn't for the suport group, a patient primary care physician who address my needs and Doctor Diane LeMont, this experience could have been much worse.I am very disapointed in the postop care provided by this office.
Even last week I called the office with a concern and specifically left a messaage for the office manager. No return phone call. As usual.

I have to say that although you feel that nobody is 100% I truely felt that way about Dr. Fransis. My son and I went to the doctor talk and he is 12. After the talk he was very amazed at how she made his fears nearly go completely away. We found her funny, and informative. She was very patient with people who asked the same question she had just answered and gave each person her time. At the one on one meeting she took her time answered all my questions and went over again all the good and bad of the surgery. The office staff has been very friendly and helpful. She visited me all but one day in the hospital and that was because she was doing surgery at the other hospital that day. The PA that works with Dr. Fransis is great and stepped in when the Dr. was unavailable. They encourage us to go to meetings and have us in for our check-ups on a regular basis. When I needed to call today to clarify something they were great. They didn't rush me and made sure that I felt they had answerd my question prior to us saying goodbye. I love Dr. Fransis and her staff and I really can't find anything bad so far. I realize that each persons experience will be different, and that I have been lucky to have things go so smoothly for me. I took several years to make my decision to have this surgery and felt that I made the best choice in a doctor for me. So again this is my experience and like anythingnot everyone is the same.

My first Immpression of Dr. Francis was that she was young, intellegent, smart and capable. Once she started to speak I felt very comfortable with her. My entire family was with me at our first meeting and boy did they have questions. She took her time and answered every single question. She went in to great detail no matter what the question was and left a great immpression on myself and my whole family.
My immpression has not changed she is great.
Dr. Francis 's staff was extreemly busy. I did not take this personal, I was extremly determined and still am to this day. Once you have an opportunity to engage with a staff member, you will be treated with respect an patience. I have concluded that this is why they remain busy.
I have no bad news to report regarding Dr. Francis. She was a true professional that made me feel like a friend. My encounters with her were brief, I did not spend a lot of time with her so I base my evaluation on the time I did spend with her.
What patients should know about Dr. Francis is that she is very busy. Don't be afraid to use her staff to field qustions.
Aftercare was encouraged. We did not spend a lot of time talking about it one on one but the entire staff swears by aftrecare including Dr. Francis.
Yes, an after care program is in place. At least that is what I would call it. I am only in week two but, I dont feel as though I was thrown to the wolves!
Risks of surgery were given up front in the middle and at the end. I must say I am well versed on the risks of surgery. Dr. Francis gave it to me straight she did not sacre me she informed me as well as my family.
Well overall I give her a 10. She was a perfect match for me and my family.
Both of coarse... however what sold me was Dr. Francis's surgical competence. She was trained by the best and has had the opportunity to encounter many sorts of patients. Her hands appear to have come from heaven they are perfect. I was blessed to have her as my surgen.

She is funny, knowledgable and very kind. My opinion about her has not changed, her staff was helpful and organized. There wasn't anything I didn't like about her, I think she is an excellent doctor who greatly emphasizes aftercare. Her office has a structured aftercare program. She was very honest and open about the risks of surgery. I rate her a 9 out of 10. If I had to chose between surgical competence and bedside manner I would choose surgical competence but I think she does well at both.

I had attended the "Doctor talk" given by Dr. Francis months before my surgery. I was impressed with her knowledge, yet she also had a great sense of humor. I met her personally the day before my surgery. She explained everything to me, including possible risks. I felt well prepared going into surgery. My Mom was present for my pre-op appointment, and Dr. Francis made her feel so much better about the surgery. I knew I was in good hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Francis to anyone.
Since surgery, I have dealt with Ashley, the PAC several times. I have found her to be very helpful and knowledgeable. She always go straight to one of the Drs if she feels it necessary. I have felt like I am in good hands throughout my immediate post op and follow up visits.
