Dr.Chung did a wonderful job. I can not complain about a single thing. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Chung and his staff are very friendly and informative. I would recommend them to anyone. My lapband surgery went well and I had some pain but was able to go home the same day. The pain subsided by day 3. Dr. Chung and the people he works with at the hospital and office are wonderful.

My first impression of Dr Chung was how well he communicated to me all of his concerns and the proceedures of the surgery, and over time I was even more impressed with his honesty and willingness to help. The staff was awesome they took me in and made me feel so welcome like I had been to their office many times. I can say Dr Chung and his staff made my surgery and my stay after surgery a very bearable situation.

The first anniversary of my new birthday will be August 4, 2007. It was on this date in 2006 that I had my Gastric Bypass surgery and began the first day of my new, healthier and hopefully long life. My health had gone downhill the past two years. I had high blood pressure, severe knee pain due to arthiritis and the rest of my body was starting to ache most of the time. For the last year or so, I had started to experience shortness of breath while walking very short distances. This was what made me realize that if I did not do something soon that I most likely would not live another 10 years. My sister had gastric bypass two years before I did and when she would mention if I was interested in having the surgery, I would always quickly answer \"no way\". But I was at the point where I was more afraid of what would happen to me if I did not have the surgery than if I did. rnrnThey say God works in mysterious ways and can move mountains. I feel it was God that set my feet on the path to Women and Children's Hospital on June 2nd, 2006 to hear Dr. Chung's seminar on Lap Band and Gastric Bypass surgery. I had originally went to hear about Lap Band, but when learning that the weight came off slower with a Lap Band, I figured that I may as well listen about Gastric Bypass. Within one hours time I did a complete 180 in wanting the surgery. Within the week, I had all my paperwork filled out, medical reports gathered and submitted to Marcie for her review. The next week Marcie had confirmation from my insurance company that they would cover the procedure for me. Over the next month and a half, she set me up for all my preliminary medical tests and had dieted to lose as much weight as I could before surgery. I remembered the whole time her phrase \"THIS IS THE LAST DIET YOU WILL EVER BE ON\". I am proud to say that I lost 20 pounds before surgery. I had my surgery on August 4th, went home on August 5th and never looked back. I was very blessed not to have experienced the side effects and/or the food intolerances that sometimes occurs after surgery. I followed all the postop food plans closely and have been very successful with my weightloss. It's been 11 months and I have lost 143 pounds with 7 more to lose. i am off my high blood pressure medication, walk with no pain and sleep better than I have in a long time. I exercise 6 days a week and feel the best I have in many, many years. Not only healthwise, but also mentally. The transformation is unbelievable. The surgery has allowed me to accomplish what I thought was impossible and has filled my life with happiness and hope for the future.

I love Dr. Chung. He is so professional. Everyone at his office is friendly. I was self pay, so he gave me a good price for my lapband surgery. Marcia is his assistant, and she gave me the total price on everything. There were no surprise costs. My procedure was only thirty five minutes. He gives a person that is self pay a chance to afford this procedure. He explains everything to you in detail plus gives you all the information on paper. He allows you to ask questions. Marcia is available after hours if you have any questions about anything. My surgery was at Women and Children's Hospital. Everyone there were extremely nice. It was a beautiful experience. I had little pain. I was just stiff for the first couple of days. The pain medicine he gives is sufficient for your needs. On a scale of 0 to 10, I honestly rate him a 10.rnI recommend Dr. Chung to anyone.

Dr. Chung is very honest and straight-forward. He didn't sugarcoat anything about the surgery. My husband was totally against it, but after some prodding, agreed to meet with the Dr. Chung. After he saw how open and honest Dr. Chung is, he changed his mind and became very supportive. Dr. Chung's office staff is very sweet and actually care. His surgical compentence is unmatched and his bedside manner is very comforting. On a scale of one (1) to ten (10) I would rate Dr. Chung a 10+. Also, Marcie, who is Dr. Chung's Bariatric Coordinator is a HUGE help with everything. She answered all questions no matter how small or strange...and NEVER made me feel like I was bothering her. A side note: The nurses at the hospital where he performed my surgery were equally caring and giving. My hospital stay was phenomenal! Thanks to you all! Don't get me wrong, I thought my pain would NEVER end, but it did after about a week and I am almost three (3) months post-op and growing stronger and smaller by the day!

Dr. Chung and his staff are excellent. I was very impressed. They will go beyond to help you with what ever the problem is. They are all there to help answer any questions you have and to make sure you understand everything. I really have nothing negative to say about Dr Chung and his staff.

DR. CHUNG SAVED ME FROM ME IF GOD WOULD NOT HAVE PUT HIM IN MY PATH THEN I MAY NOT BE HERE TODAY... I HAVE HELPED ALOT OF LADIES WITH THE CHOICE TO HAVE SURGERY WITH DR. CHUNG. IF I HAD TO DO ALL OF THIS AGAIN THEN I WOULD HAVE MADE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO GO WITH DR. CHUNG HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND LOVING TOUCH MAKE HIM GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES HIS STAFF WOW WHAT CAN I SAY THEY ARE THE BEST IF THEY CAN TELL WHO IS CALLING JUST FROM A VOICE ON THE PHONE THEN YOU KNOW THEY TRUELY PUT THEIR HEARTS INTO THEIR JOBS....TRUELY THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB OF SAVING MY LIFE...

Dr. Chung made a great first impression! He is very open and honest. He does not beat around the bush or try to avoid any questions you have. He gives the most honest answer he can. His office staff is great. Marcie seems to be the best. I have not had my surgery yet, but I am in the process of getting paperwork to the insurance for approval and I have called Dr. Chung's office more than once with questions and they are great. They do not get aggrevated with the calls and questions, they help any way they can. My husband was very optimistic about the surgery until he spoke with Dr. Chung and the Doc explained the pros and cons and now my husband is confident with me having the surgery.

Dr. Chung and his staff are amazing people.They always explain things in a detailed manner so that understanding was made easy.These people are absolutely incredible.God sent,I'd say.I couldn't ask for anything more.
