Wonderful, easy to talk to. I actually did not decide to go threw with the surgery until I talked to Dr. Kuhn. My last chance to chicken out! He made me feel like he would be there for the long run and I would succeed. The staff is helpful, very busy but always return calls and answer questions. I have heard co-workers/friends comment on how they never saw the Dr. after surgery. I saw Dr kuhn before the surgery he went out to the waiting area to talk to my mom and assured her I was fine. She was surprised to see him so soon. Dr Kuhn was also who I saw at my 2 week check up. That was really cool.

ok .....i'm just starting this whole thing but it went really fast. i found out that i was approved for the surgery on 4th of september 2004 and went through all the tests and classes from then til now sept. 19th 2004. wow what an experience this has been so far and i'm not even done yet....
dr. kuhn is a very nice doctor..i have only spoke with him once but he sat down and answered all my questions. he calmed all my fears and i feel very comfortable that he is going to be my surgeon tomorrow. his staff has been nothing but helpful. Like i said before this all went very fast so they have bent over backwards to make this as easy as possible with so little time. i will let evryone knwo how i feel after the surgery and how well i was treated before and after surgery. wish me luck!!!

My first impression of Dr. Kuhn was that he was very caring and had excellent bedside manner. He was concerned about my concerns and assured me that he would address any issues I had with the surgery.

My impression has not changed.

His office staff is very accommodating, friendly, and caring.

He ranks at the top for obesity surgeons and has the manner to match.

WLS does have a very structured aftercare program.

Dr. Kuhn addressed all the risks I face by having the surgery and not having the surgery.

Dr. Kuhn's surgical competence and bedside manner were great!!!

Dr. Kuhn is an extremely nice person as well as skilled surgeon. WLS Center is very professional and competent. There was not anything about Dr. Kuhn that I did not like. He is one of the nicest doctors I have every met. He and the Baylor program is the best anywhere. All aspects of surgery and aftercare are covered.

I would recommend Dr. Kuhn to anyone. He was recommended to me by my Pastor. Very calm, quiet, and knowledgeable. He instills confidence in me, about this decision, and our ability to work together to accomplish my weight loss goals.

Dr. Kuhn was wonderful from the very beginning. He is very kind and understanding. If you listen to what he says and follow his instructions, you should have an excellent experience with this surgery. The Baylor seminar is an excellent way to learn about this procedure and I felt very well informed with this program. The office staff was a little disorganized on my first visit but that situation improved (I think one of the people I dealt with that day was new)

Dr. Khun is my mircle worker. He has given me the chance to use my "pouch" as a tool to become a much healthier person. when I first meet Dr Kuhn on my consultation visit he made me feel very at ease and recomfirmed my decision of having RNYBS. the office staff at Baylor WLS clinic are some of the best people that I have had the opertunity to meet. Very helpful and suportive in every way. Dr Kuhn is very much in support of the Baylor WLS after care monthy group meetings that you should attend the rest of your "new" life. Dr Kuhn is great in every aspect. I could not have asked for a greater surgeon.

Dr. Kuhn was great he is kind compassionate and very caring. The staff in his office were all very kind and compassionate. They have excellent support groups. He strongly encourages support groups and Baylor offers them monthly. I stongly recommend Dr. Kuhn and his partners. Thankyou Kat

I am so glad that I did my research and found the best weight loss surgery program in Texas (in my humble opinion). My doctor, Dr. Kuhn, was voted as one of the top surgeons of Dallas, along with Dr. McCarty, the other Baylor Doc. Dr Kuhn is quiet, patient, informative, caring, encouraging, and thorough. He calmed my nerves before surgery and came out and personally explained the surgery and how I did to my mom. He came to check on me many times in the hospital and was always gentle and smiling. The aftercare program is so great at Baylor, and the pre-op classes I had to take really helped me to be informed about what I could expect after surgery and the nutrition and diet was discussed in detail and was easy to understand. I love Baylor and Dr. Kuhn!

First impression is he is very nice and has a calming effect on you. Love him! My impression has not changed in 11 months. His office staff is very good. Thay are just very busy. He is also an oncology surgeon so he is very busy but will make time for you. My surgery was canceled once because he had a cancer patient that had to have surgery very soon. I totally understood and was rescheduled the next week. He tells you to take pepcid to prevent ulcers and benefiber to keep you regular. The Baylor aftercare program is one of the very best with meeting all the time and a clothing exchange program. I had a friend die 5 days after this surgery and he answered all of my questions. I was very nervous. I believe his is an excellent surgeon. He is extremely competent. I know you want the surgery ASAP I was there but I wanted the best surgeron. And it is worth the wait if you can get him. I promise! Its your life make your choices carefully.
