Overall Dr. Kuhn and his staff are great. He took time to answer all of my questions, and from the looks of things he did a pretty bang up job on my surgery. Besides, he's an Ag, I'm an Ag. I would recomend him and the Baylor staff for anybody considering surgey.

First met Dr. Kuhn at the required seminar. I found him to be very knowledagable and direct, he did not sugar coat any of the experiences you would be feeling before or after surgery. He was very patient in answering questions even if it was touched on earlier, and that said alot about his personality. I finally got my consult with the Dr. and he was just as pleasant as I rememered. He was warm and friendly and when he shook my hand I felt an instant connection, not as doctor/patient but person/person. You never rememebr anything you wanted to askthe Dr. while he is there and naturally I was drawing a blank so he did most of the talking and eventually touched on all my fears and quickly put them to rest. I have every confidnece in Dr. Kuhn and even though he was assigned to me I feel that fate brought us together and I couldn't be in better hands had I requested him myself. I go into this surgery with open eyes and a positive attitude, I believe I will get out of it what I put into it. Wish me luck and I will let you know how everything goes. rn

Dr. Joseph Kuhn performed my gastric bypass surgery. He is an exceptional surgeon. I had total confidence in Dr. Kuhn from the first time I heard him speak at a weight loss seminar. Dr. Kuhn combines a wealth of knowledge along with compassion for his patients which makes for an award winning combination.

I was originally scheduled with Dr. Todd McCarty, but because I need to have my surgery before August 1st, due to insurance changes taking place then, Dr. Kuhn will be my surgeon.

I love Dr. Veninga, he has a great personality and is very trained and skilled at weight loss surgery. The staff is great at Trinity Medical in Dallas.

Dr. Veninga is really a special person to me he not only changed my life but.. helps me feel comfortable about myself each time I see him.Even now that I am changing from the lapband i still feel the same..

I didn't get to see him after the surgery but at 2 weeks and then I think I get to see him at my last visit at 1 year. The other schduled visits just saw staff.

Dr Kuhn is great! He's very patient, he answered all of my questions, he is also very soft spoken, and I really felt comfortable with him. He was very positive, he said I would defiantly be one of his success stories. Now that was AWESOME to hear!

I had a chance to meet Dr. Kuhn when I went in for my consult. He was very nice; he did his best to put me at to answer all my questions. He comes very highly recommended. I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon. I was also very impressed with the experience with the WLS.
