My first impression of Dr. Wynn was a good one. She is a petite woman, but don't let her size fool you. She was very informative, and pressed the importance of the aftercare program. I had a lot of questions and concerns. She answered every thing without hesitation. She also didn't minimize the fact that this surgery is risky. Her office staff was very friendly, and very helpful with scheduling the other appointments that are required. At this point in my journey (I have two appointments left before they will schedule my surgery)I would rate her, and her staff with an A+.........Bonnie

My first impression on Dr. Wynn and Iragau reflected a team that complemented each other. Methodically precise persons. Beside attitueds with a mission - Ensuring a viable and safe experience for me as a potential and now Post Gastric Bypass patient. My view has not changed over time.

As of this time I find the office staff friendly and sensitive to the emotional needs of the gastric bypass patient. When I first met Dr. Wynn, I was taken back by her honesty as well as Dr. Iragau's. I realized as I proceeded with the surgery preparations that the direct honesty had an impact on my success. Pre and Post care, what to expect and the complications of Gastric Bypass Surgery were further complimented by a strategically structured program. I rate the doctors and their staff extremly high. What I find most remarkable is the fact that both doctors perform the surgery. It just made me feel secure knowing both were attending at my surgery. I have been complication free. The only exception has been my own ignorance. I copiously consumed a product that impacted my blood values, the resulting anemia has been reversed. The only area of opportunity is in the structured program that is facilitated by a third party vendor. I would really prefer that the doctor's office handle that aspect (In a perfect world anyway). My sister is about to go through Gastric Bypass and unlike me needs more nurturing, I am thankful she gets that from the surgeons and staff. Surgery and the decision to have elective surgey can in itself be dramatical and traumatic. The pure volume of processing a massive request for obesity help can be overwhelming, so I say overall, the program is effective and it works. Like anything, success is in your hands and remember that the words you speak reflect who you are;when you run in to kinks in the road because truly Bypass surgery is a journey, remember that the person on the other side of the desk will react to the words you speak. Take time to think of how you would like to be approached, and then react. My preference is surgical competence over bedside manner. I've been fortunate to get both in Wynn and Iragau.

I think Dr. Wynn is awesome and even though I have not meant Dr. Irgau I had to speak to him recently by phone, concerning some meds I was taking. He was very respectful of my feelings and had a very caring attitude. Dr. Wynn is very straight forward and honest. She will answer any questions you have. My Sister, who I have to get to register at the site, was a patient of Dr. Wynn's appox. two years ago. She is now a size 6-8 and very happy, she credits Dr. Wynn for giving her, her life back. Now you must know surgery is not a cure all. This is a relationship. The Dr's can't do all the work. This is a reality to me, because I am one of those people who wants to wake up in the morning 200 lbs lighter and keep on getting up. In reality I have to make many sacarfices and surrender to do what the Doctors tell you do.
The one great thing about these doctors is that I believe they are in it because they know they make a differnce in the life of obese people. If you qualify for this surgery then you know what I am talking about. Our days are full of hopelessness and we down on ourselfs thus cauing others to look down on us as well. I think what Dr. Wynn and Dr Irgau has brought to the obese people of Delaware is a hope that we can lose weight and keep it off. The hope that we can some day, enjoy amusement parks again, go to movies without worrying about the seat sizes or ask for a booth instead of a table. Need I say more.....

My first impression of her was very knowledgable. She informed me of the surgical risks and aftercare requirements. Her staff was very helpful in getting my presurgery clearnance appointments and life style classes scheduled. They did all the paperwork for my insurance to cover the cost. The only thing that my insurance did not cover was the classes and psychological exam.

Dr. Wynn seemed a little unapproachable about questions initially and even during my pre-op visit, but I didn't care and asked whatever I wanted. The office staff is outstanding and understanding and never made me feel like I was being a pain. Dr. Wynn is very knowledgable, and I feel very confident in her abilities during the surgery. The testing I had to do and clearances I had to get from various doctors was time consuming, but absolutely worth it, and I am extremely happy that she requires all the information she does about my physical health, because I know it minimizes surprises on the operating table. She emphasizes how important the followup appointments are, and all of the classes and paperwork I received made it clear this is a life change. She was very matter of fact about the risks, quoting statistics and numbers, and I relied on getting more anecdotal information about what to expect from other patients. At this point in my process, I would say she definitely has more surgical competence than bedside manner, but I am OK with that.

My first impression of dr Wynn was she is very little.Dr wynn is very nice and conncerned about my surgery. Here office staff has been very nice and has sceduled everything on there part very timely and returne all of my phone calls. There was nothing i did not like about her.She is worth the wait. She is very conserned about aftercare. She has a very stuctured aftercare program. She was very blunt about all the risks of surgery.Iwould rate DrWynn and her staff on a scale of 1 through 10 a 10+.

Dr. Wynn was extremely professional and took as much time as I needed to explain to both myself and my husband the process and the pro's and cons of the surgery.

My impression stayed the same of the doctor, I did have concerns just for my health not the procedure.

Pleasant, friendly, helpful, and most have had the procedure.

Nothing

That she is completely honest and holds nothing from her patients.

Dr. Wynn stresses aftercare and lifestyle changes. She emphasizes that this is not a quick fix issue. You will have to work hard for the rest of your life.

Yes

Honestly and with care toward myself and my family.

Top notsch, I have nothing but good things to say about her and her support staff.

Both were great.

I can't praise Dr. Wynn enough. From our first meeting I knew she was a no-nonsense doctor. She told me the cigerettes had to go and went on to tell me everything that would happen with pictures.

Office staff is excellent, and she stocks many different products for us Gastric Bypass patients in her office. Saving us the time to search down alot of things.

As to rating Dr. Wynn A+++, she is the greatest.

I like Dr. Wynn and her staff is outstanding, especially Brett Gordon who knows everything! I guess the thing I like least is I think there should be more aftercare and a more structured aftercare program. I think her surgical competence is good.
