Edward Facundus (COE) Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr Facundus is a great surgeon and a wonderful person. I would recommend him to anyone.

THEY WERE ALL VERY UNDERSTANDING AND HELPFUL.
SINCE OUR FIRST MEETING MY IMPRESSION HAS EVEN
IMPROVED. HE IS A VERY CARING PROFESSIONAL AND
VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. THUS FAR I HAVEN'T FOUND
ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT HIM OR HIS OFFICE STAFF.
HE AND HIS STAFF WILL HELP IN ANY WAY WHILE
FILING WITH INSURANCE AND WAITING FOR APPROVAL
HE HAS A VERY CLEAR AND CONCISE AFTERCARE
SCHEDULE. AND HE EXPECTS HIS PATIENTS TO BE
DEDICATED TO THIS NEW LIFE STYLE. HE WAS VERY
UP FRONT ABOUT THE RISKS OF THIS SURGERY AND
ANESTHESIA. I DON'T THINK I COULD FIND A BETTER
MORE UNDERSTANDING PHYSICIAN ANY WHERE IN THE
COUNTRY.
HE IS UP TO NOW VERY COMPETENT AND HAS A WONDERFUL
BEDSIDE MANNER. GREAT!!!!!

I am SO glad that I found Dr. Facundus. He is a skill surgeon and a very personable man...easy to talk to and really puts you at ease. His office staff is GREAT as well.

My first impression of Dr. Facundus was that he was very friendly and really seemed to care. The impression really increased in both the friendliness as well as how much Dr. Facundus cared about me. Dr. Facundus' office staff are all really easy to get along with. They are all friendly, especially Kristi, the coordinator. I can only think of one thing I PERSONALLY like least about Dr. Facundus...how close he stands to me when we talk only because I have issues with some phobias that disallows me to stand too close to anybody at all. Dr. Facundus is a very informative doctor who shows his interest as well as concerns with you and what you want to have the surgery for. Dr. Facundus does emphasize aftercare such as support groups and appointments with your coordinator which are structured programs. Dr. Facundus did notify me of the risks I would be taking in having the surgery as well as how the mental changes would have effect on me after the surgery. Overall, I think Dr. Facundus is a wonderful doctor, 1-10 he is a 15. Both surgical competence and bedside manners were great!

Dr. Facundus thus far has been wonderful. His nurses and staff are extremely wonderful and informative. They made me feel right at home and comfortable which was important to me. They gave me a good general overview of the procedure as well as aftercare. They were there to answer any other questions I might have. The book that they gave me, answered everything I had thought of asking. It was a very beneficial resource and I can refer back to it at any time. I also liked the fact that many of the staff there had had the surgery and could tell me first hand what it was like. I think Dr Facundas is wonderful and I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Facundus and his staff are very knowledgeable and appear very competent. I am extremely pleased with the fact that he has been doing this type of surgery for 4 years, never lost a patient and never had a leak! Everyone was very nice and encouraging. I wouldn't change anything about my first experience with Dr. F. or his staff. The procedure was explained in full and I was given a booklet that detailed the surgery as well as pre-op and post-op issues.

I changed from Dr. Roberts to Dr. Facundus and I absolutely made the right choice.
Since I already had a consultation with Dr. Roberts I didn't have to have one with Dr. Facundus. I know I will like him because everyone I have spoken to says he is great. I can't wait to meet him.
The office staff are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and polite.
I would recommend anyone to him.

I will meet Dr. Facundus for the first time tomorrow. After I talked to him I will update. He is speaking at a meeting in Athens, Al on 11/11/02.

I met Dr. Facundus at a WLS meeting in Athens today. He appears to be confident and sure of himself. He answered all questions asked very sincerely. I felt comfortable asking Dr. Facundus questions. I felt my mothers presence letting me know I had made the right choice. She went to be with the Lord on July 29th of this year.He has a great smile and appeared to be very caring.

Dr. Facundus has hired Jeri, and I think she is great. I called the office the other day and she was very attentive and willing to help. Both Kristi and Jeri are understanding of our fears and worries and it doesn't appear to bother them when we call the office with questions.

Dr. Facundus has a great staff. They are allappear to be caring and understanding. Two of his staff members have been through WLS themselves. I think that is a great idea to hire people who really understand and empathize with his papients. Every time I'v spoken with Dr.F he listens attentively and is not in a rush. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 10plus. I just love him.

I called Dr. F's office today and a situation came up that upset me. Thank God for Jeri she is just great. She calmed me down answered all my questions without rushing or trying to put me of. She immediately worked on it and made me feel better about the whole thing. I personally think she is the best. No matter what the outcome of the situation, I still think she is the best.She is a go getter and I would highly recommend Doc F.and Jeri and Kristy.
Ig my surgery is cancelled for some reason that's it for me, without any hard feelings, it was not meant to be for a reason. I still love each and everyone of you. God bless.

I would rate him a 9. after the surgery I will probly go to a 10. If he does all he said he will. And I HAVE NO DOUGHT HE WILL not do as he told me he would do.
