I am very happy that I picked Dr. Suh to be my surgeon. He is such a very excellent surgeon to go to. I had my surgery with him on 9/20/2006. I tell you his surgical staff from the LVN, RN, Anastasiaoligist, and all the rest were just great. They made me feel so comfterble in there care. I had a couple of small little complications once I was discharged one being dehydrated from me not drinking enough water and the other was no being able to go pox, But Dr. Suh and Mo were very excellent in following up with my care by calling me and making sure I was feeling good. That made me feel even better. At all my apts he always answered my questions and drew diagrams so I can visually see also. He is just great :)
Dr. Suh is awesome!!!! This man is wonderful at what he does. Many people have told me he is the BEST WLS surgeon and now I definately agree! Mo is great too! All of my questions were answered by her....I must have called the office about 50 times I swear. Even after surgery whenever I call to schedule my follow up appointments whoever answers always asks me how I'm doing and they just seem like they all truly care alot!
09/07/06: I had my intial consult with the surgeon today(Dr. Suh). he is such a wonderful and caring physician. I felt right at ease with him. He reminds me of some of the physicians I used to work with in the ER at SBCMC. He is very thorough and knowledgable and serious about this surgery. Good bedside manner and never felt rushed. Answered all my questions and asked me tons of questions. I had intially seen him twice before I had this consult. Once at his program seminar and another time at one of his post-op classes. I had always felt comfortable with him from the beginning.
So far I've only seen Dr. Suh once. My impression of him was very patient, caring and willing to answer all of my questions. rn I do have to mention Dr. Suh's staff they are organized and easy to work with! Dr. Suh and his office have treated me well. rn I really feel I've been referred to quality surgeon.rn8/31/06rnI can't tell you how happy I am with Dr. Suh! Dr. Suh is a very caring surgeon, the best in my opinion! I was at a high risk for developing blood clots and he took every precaution to ensure my safety, for that I am grateful! I would highly recomend Dr. Suh to anyone wanting WLS. Dr. Suh is a quality surgeon!
I met Dr. Suh today. I went there for my first consult. He came in shook my hand, and I felt a good vibe from him. He let me know some good news and gave me all of the background information about the surgery. I heard it MANY times before, but I let him explain. He talked, asked me if I had any questions, and then said we are going to get everything started. I am glad that he will be my soon to be surgeon. He seems nice, and I will hopefully have a date for end of October/November.
Met with Dr. Suh on Thurs and it was brief but he was very nice and through. His office staff in incredible. Mo and Michelle are both wonderful. Mo worked me in before the doc went on vacation and I am so thankful. I hope to have surgery the first of Sept. I am nervous but so excited and grateful that in the near future I will be feeling 1000% better!
'My first impression of Dr. David Suh was that he was knowledgeable and sincere. He's a quiet fella but seems to have a good sense of humor. He was happy to take all the time I needed to answer every question I threw at him. I never felt rushed or hurried so he could move on to his other patients. His office staff is extremely friendly
My first impression of Dr. Suh was okay--he was kind but seemed very impersonal and busy. As I saw him more--seminar, visits--he seemed more genuine and warm.
His office is super busy, but his staff is attentive and wonderful. Mo--Dr. Suh's right-hand woman--is amazing.
Clearly, I did research about Dr. Suh before I let him do WLS. His bedside manner might seem a bit abrupt at first, but don't judge him too quickly.
When I was in the hospital, each quick post-op visit seemed to have brought out the best in Dr. Suh. It was not long before I received a genuine smile from the very surgically talented doctor.
I would recommend Dr. Suh with no reservations.
