David Suh Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I saw Dr. Suh at a seminar before I actually met him and I was impressed with his knowledge, demeanor, and the way he patiently answered all questions. When I met him in his office, he was friendlier and even nicer that at the seminar. My impression has not changed over the 2 years since my surgery. His staff was awesome! Very nice and effecient and always busy. All of my questions were taken care of in a timely manner. Future patients should know that you will have to wait, (and wait) to see him. My longest wait time for a scheduled appointment was 2 hours. I had left work early to be there on time. This was the same situation at every appointment although 2 hours was the longest I waited. Once I got in to see him, he treated me as if I were the only person there. He did not rush me through or brush off any questions. So, to me, the wait in the office was worth having Dr. Suh as my surgeon. rnHe talked a lot about aftercare and what I would have to do for the rest of my life. He had a structured plan for for the 1st year after surgery. After that, we discussed seeing my GP yearly for blood tests and follow up. He talked about all the risks I could face during and after surgery. Over all, I would rate Dr. Suh a 10+, I never felt any apprehension or nervousnes with him. His surgical competence was outstanding, and his bedside manner was, also. He saw me 2 times while I was in the hospital. I had no complications at all from surgery. I am 2 years out and have lost 125 pounds.

Dr. Suh is extremely competent and careful. He takes no risks with the health of his patients. I felt I was in the hands of \"the best\". His experience and training are very extensive and he is also very personable. On a personal level I find him a little intimidating only because I have such high respect for him. His office staff is very friendly and caring. The after-care is very structured and they are serious about followup visits. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. David Suh for weight loss surgery.

Dr. Suh was wonderful. I don't know how he did it, but I had NO pain after surgery. My surgery was on a Friday morning (01/26/07). He came and saw me that afternoon, as well as Saturday and Sunday. rnrnHe has thought of everything. With an emphasis on preventing issues after surgery. rnrnI recently swallowed my gum (ooops), and was very concerned. I called his office expecting an answering service. Instead there was an outgoing message that gave his pager number. I paged Dr. Suh and within less than a minute he called me back. Now how many doctors will do that? Not very manyrnrnHis office coordinator, Mo, is fabulous. She is on top of everything! Extremely organized, and knows everyone by name. rnrnI couldn't be happier with my surgeon and his supporting staff.

David Suh is a great surgeon. I would recommend him all the way. I think that he has a really good program going on, and he really cares about his patients. Very informative, and very nice and he has a little sense of humor as well. I like that,

When I first met Dr. Suh on Sept 15, 05 I thought he was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions and my mothers as well. He didn't make me feel rushed at all. He was very sincere. His office staff is great. Mo was so helpful and I am sure she is glad to have my surgery scheduled so I will stop calling her! LOL!!!rnDr. Suh has a structured aftercare program of followup at 1 week, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year and then yearly for life.rnHis bedside manner and surgical competence are both great! He has lots of experience and his hospital is a Center Of Excellance.rnJan.18,07-rnI have had my surgery and I am now 13 months post-op. Dr. Suh is wonderful, he is the best. Very Kind , Informative, Looks you in the eye. Love his mannerism Cares for the wellfare of the patients ; after care highly reccommeded, also support groups, He tells you like it is. He's a 10, surgical competence, and bed size manners matters to me. Go to his seminars find out for your self, it's your choice. His office is very busy, the staff is very helpful, When you have to watch the film on the surgery there's too many people talking for you too hear, so you have to wait till they leave or ask them to be quite, Please....

My first impression of Dr. Suh was that he was very knowledgeable in the area of barriatriac surgery. I attended a seminar and feel very comfortable having him as my surgeon. His office staff is very efficient and they are extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate the fact that they take care of business and I always know what's going on. I'll be going for my first appointment tomorrow, so i'm sure that I'll be updating this.

rnDr Suh is very friendly, kind and shows true concern for his patients. He is a very intelligent physician and really really paid attention to me. He was very encouraging to me when I was post op and a scared. His office is very busy but always willing to help answer questions.

Dr. Suh has a gentle and kind way about him. My first impression was that he is a very confident man, and would do his best to make his patients very comfortable with the wls.
