Okay, went formy last visit before surgery. Dr. Suh was very nice. He stayed and answered my questions without any hesitation. I believe that is why he is always behind, he answers the questions for everyone.

He saved my life .......

My first encounter with Dr. Suh was at his Seminar at the Rancho Springs Medical Center. He was very punctual, well dressed and presented himself very well. rnrnHe spoke in language everyone could understand and didn't make it seem too difficult. rnrnHad my consult 7/16/07 and after much anticipation it was exactly what I expected. I was not too thrilled with the office staff that was on duty (Except for Nita.. she was very nice.) I had scheduled the appointment weeks ago for 10:30am and got there about 9:45am (since I was coming from over 1 hour away I wanted to make sure I was there on time) the snooty front office clerk demanded I did not have an appointment as Dr. Suh wouldn't be in till later that afternoon. Lo' and behold my appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge to 11am. No big deal, I waited this long I can wait a little longer. Mo, on the other hand, is an absolute sweet heart!! Called her on her cell phone for directions and we laughed about how mapquest messed me up. rnrnDr. Suh was very professional, straight-forward, and made things go very fast. He explained the procedure and how it works (which I already knew.) He made it very clear that GBS is only a TOOL and the operator of the TOOL has the means to make or break it. rnrnOf course, he explained all the risks involved and went over my case in detail. rnrnI am very impressed and would recommend Dr. Suh to anyone!!

At the seminar that I attended, Dr. Suh answered every question asked of him and was very informative in his answers. I felt comfortable with him at my first pre-op visit.rnThe staff is very knowlegable and answered my every question.

My first impression of Dr. Suh was he was very serious and professional when it came to the surgery. He is very informational and cares about you as a patient. He wants to make sure all his patients take this seriously and wants them to understand what they are doing and make sure this is what they want. This is a reflection of his work and wants everyone to be a success. I appreciated his honest aproach toward the surgery. He doesn't beat around the bush, he tells you what the reality is about the surgery. And I liked that about him. I think his staff was awsome and that is just a reflection of how he does his practice. You will be walking out of his office with a new lease on life. He's well worth the wait, that is because the insurance took me forever to finally get the surgery. But it was good to know I was in good hands!

The doctor was late for my first appointment, due to surgery delay. But, it didn't matter, because everyone in the office (2 pre-ops, about 15 post-ops) was discussing their surgeries and it was great information. When I finally met Dr. Suh he was full of information, answered all my questions and was very good natured. I found it interesting that since I had taken Phen Phen I was required to take an echogardiagram. I knew right away after taking it one time ( about 15 years ago?)that there was a problem with it. I woke up in the morning with water retention and I never wake up that way. I will report later on how the surgery went.

Dr. Suh is one of the best at what he does, Bariatric Surgery. I did so much research before choosing a surgeon. He has outstanding credentials. He went to the top schools, has a great success rate, works with an outstanding hospital, and has the best office staff.rn You can find out more about him at www.crownsurgery.com. Let me just tell you though, if bariatic surgery is what you want, Dr. Suh is who you need.

I met Dr. Suh in November of 2006 once I got a referral from my PCP. When I first walked in and sat down I remember that thier was so much going on. His office was full, which to me is a good sign. There was a pretty good mix of pre/post op patients. Everyone post op seemed to be in good spirits. I remember that I had to watch a video in the waiting room, which went over the procedure itself. Informative information, wasn't boring. I finally got called in to meet Dr. Suh. Very kind and patient man. Soft spoken and calm. Felt as though he was willing to spend as much time with me as needed to answer all of my questions. He felt that I was a good candidate for the surgery. Asked me to stop smoking 4 weeks prior to surgery. Cut out all starch and maintain a low carb diet to shrink the size of my liver so that's easier to access the stomach during surgery. Start to reduce the intake of carbonated beverages. Also prescribed me Prilosec. Ordered Ultrasound of abdomen, EKG, Chest X-ray, blood work and a Pshyc evaluation. Handed me his Protocol, which list his requirements for the surgery which included attending a support group & his seminar. Once I started to complete the EKG, blood work etc... his office started to contact me to check to see what else needed to be done. I have to admit Mo & Michelle are two of the most informative and patient office staff employees that I have ever met. I am certain that Dr. Suhs' success relies on his staffs drive and care for Bariatric patients and thier needs. rnrnAfter I received the call from Mo, she scheduled everything for me that needed to be done. March 2007, I had my final meeting with Dr. Suh. It was mandatory for me to bring my wife, I guess in the event she had any questions. He was a little late getting in, once he did show up, he came in went over the weeks final prep. Again, answered about 20 questions to our satisfaction. rnrnI have nothing but praise for Dr. Suhs' staff and his mannerism. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering Gastric Bypass Surgery.

I finally had my first appt. with Dr. Suh. He is soft spoken but explained in great detail all aspects of the surgery. He encouraged me to ask any questions I might have, and explained his post- op support system. All of the Drs I've seen, leading up to this , have had nothing but high regard for him and his talents, assuring me I was in excellant hands. His staff was friendly and efficient, and I was surprised at how smoothly the whole appt. went, especially after the horror stories I had read about waiting forever. I am completely pleased with Dr Suh and his office staff and feel comfident I will receive nothing but the best of care from them all.
