Daryl Stewart Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

My first impression of Doctor Stewart and his office was a very positive one. He and his staff are absolutly wonderful. Very caring, thoughtful and very concerend about your individual care. I have heard from others that he is a very good surgeon. The support group meetings are awesome - very relaxed yet very informative and well worth the time to attend. They provide a very open atmosphere in which one can feel comfortable to ask questions. I would definitely recommend friends, family and ANYONE to Dr. Stewarts office.

I attended my pre-op and spent some through time with Dr. Stewart. He is really GREAT!! Just Heaven scent directly to me!

He was very professional and caring. His staff is wonderful and Leah makes you feel right at home. It is important to Dr. Stewart that his patients are informed both before and after the procedure. Dr. Stewart can be a bit serious at times but other than that, he just seems like a quiet, shy guy. The aftercare that they set up with a dietician and everything really seemed to help me. Not to mention calling Leah every five minutes with questions and her answering them with patience of gold.

I have not met Dr. Stewart yet, but I have spoken to his office staff several times.

If Dr. Stewart's office staff is a reflection of himself than he must be great. His staff are so freindly and helpful. They are fast, efficient and truly act like they care.

I am looking forward to having my surgery.

IVE ONLY HAD CONTACT WITH HIS OFFICE STAFF. HIS APPROACH IS AWESOME YOU FILL ALL INFO OUT ON HIS WEB SITE AND THEY COMPILE ALL NECESSARY INFO AND SEND FOR APPROVAL. ROSE IS VERY HELPFUL ANSWERED ALL MY DUMB LITTLE QUESTIONS AND MADE ME FEEL GREAT.
I HAD SURGERY 03/03/03 AND DR. STEWART IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. He came and checked on me twice a day the first couple of days and answered any questions I had. He has a great follow up program as well. He doesn't just do the surgery collect his fees and be done with you. He has a wonderful support group that he attends when possible and its headed up by an actual wls person named Leah who is very knowledgable of our wants and needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this surgery. He is absolutely the very best in my opinion.

My first impression was great. I attended his seminar not expecting to use him just went for more info and was impressed by his demeanor, his honesty of risk and outcomes, an his apparant honesty about his own complications he has encountered. After this seminar, I decided to switch to him.

All of the dealings I have had so far with his office have been superb. Leah has responded fast to everything I have sent her and has been super sweet on the phone. I have really been impressed with her.

Dr. Stewart does have an aftercare program and support program that is growing all of the time.

Bedside manner great....will have to wait till surgery to rate surgical competence but have liked what I have seen and heard so far. So far have not experienced anything negative but my journey is just beginning.

I am so impressed with Dr. Stewart and his entire office staff! They are incredibly efficient, thourough and organized. You really feel that the care and concern of the patient is their first priority. They do a fantastic job at really informing each person about all aspects of the surgery. Especailly with the addition of nutritional counseling and a great support group. I have had a fantastic experience so far, and I am totally confident that I will recieve excellent care both in the hospital and post-operatively.

Dr. Stewart and his staff are awesome and great. Dr. Stewart's main concern is the care his patients get while in the hospital. I cannot say enough great things about him and staff.

well i finally had my consult with Dr. Stewart, and liked him very much. He seems very thorough and confident. He has a dietician on staff that i liked very much. His aftercare program is not an option it is a must. The follow ups are not only with him, but they are scheduled with the dietician as well. He explains the program in depth and covers all pertinent info including the risks. The office staff is wonderful. cant say anything negative about the Dr. or staff. I am looking forward to getting this done and overwith. I have confidence in Dr. Stewart that i will emerge a new individual. In Leaving Dr. Stewart's office, I felt informed, and that i had made the right decision in a surgeon.

Dr. Stewart is very quiet. He jgot right down to business. Dr. Stewart explained everything about the surgery and the good and bad things also. The office staff is EXCELLENT!! They took care of all the paperwork and worked with the insurance company so I didn't have to. Dr. Stewart really seems to care about his patients. He has a true concern about Obesity and what it is doing to us. After meeting with him, I have all the confidence in the world that he will take excellent care of me.

Update: Post-Op, I was right, he does care for his patients. I know I choose the correct Dr. He has great bedside manners and a great surgical skills. Thanks Dr. Stewart and all the people in the office.

Dr. Stewart really has a good thing going up in Denton. You really know that he cares. After meeting him, I have all the confidence in the world that he will take EXCELLENT care of me.
