He is very "direct" and to the point. Doesn't chit chat. Gets right down to business. Staff is friendly and helpful.

He went over all my questions and concerns. I am glad I was referred to him. I felt very confident that I was in good hands.

He stressed the importance of learning about the surgery and to do everything that we are told, and we should have no problems.

Dr. Anez and his staff are very professional, not leisurely with your time. In addition, they are very sensitive about any situation that involves this surgery or obesity, right down to their big lobby chairs.

I was very impressed and happy with the service that I got, which is why Dr. Anez is regarded as a top surgeon in the US with this type of surgery.

Dr Anez is very matter of fact, he tells you all about the surgery and how it will affect you. He is very structured and rigorous in what he wants you to do, but I like him, he truly cares for each of his patients and is one of the best surgeons I have dealt with. He has a good bedside manner and stresses the importance of walking and deep breathing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My first impression of Dr. Anez was hmmm, this is a Doctor who knows his stuff. He explained exactly what he would be doing and he always asks if I have any questions. I was impressed to know that after doing research, my PCP, my cardiologist and several others have highly recommended him.
My husband went with me and of course he had hundreds of questions yet Dr. Anez answered every one of them and not once did I ever feel rushed.

My first impression of Dr. Anez is that he is very straight forward and will tell you all the information about the surgery. He is very informative and I think that him being like that is very good for me because i have been researching this for a long time. My impression still remains the same, he is a very good man and always makes sure that you do not have any questions. His office staff is wonderful. Gabbie was the best. Evertime i had a questions i was able to contact her and she was very flexible with working around me work and school schedule.

If you are planning on using Dr. Anez as your surgeon then be advised that he is ver straight forward and gets all of the information out first. After care is big part of what the office staff and Dr. Anez stressed to me. They have the dietician that is also always there to help you with anything. He told me of all the risks and complications and told me the likely hood of any of them happening to me and told me that if I did like I was told then I would be fine.

Overall I would give Dr. Anez two thumbs up!! ***** He is a great man.

My husband and I met with Dr Anez this morning in his office. Going into the office was quite interesting because it was a zoo.. standing room only! We waited over an hour to see him and I was prepared to really not meet a doctor with a pleasant bedside manner because of what I had read here and elsewhere. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. Dr Anez could not have been more professional and congenial. He explained the surgery in great detail and answered every single questions (I had many!). Without flinching or hestitating, Dr Anez shared with my husband and I any and all complications that could occur and how he has handled them. At no time did I feel rushed. I found his demeanor to be very reassuring. He stressed that I would be his patient for the rest of my life and that aftercare and support was very important. I found out from other patients in the waiting area that his nutritionist has a four (4!) hour nutrition class. Impressive. All in all, despite the seriousness of this decision, I feel really good about going with Dr Anez.

He is a quiet fellow but very kind and truly genuine in his efforts to help people find better health through WLS.

My first impression of Dr. Anez was of a very professional man who appears to be all business. After a couple more visits, I noticed smiles and a caring attitude as well. His office staff has been very polite, informative, and willing to help. Gaby is his surgical coordinator - she is pleasant, returns emails promptly & effeciently handles requests.

Dr. Anez is very straight forward right from the beginning about the seriousness of a "life-long change" and the importance of following every instruction very closely.

Dr. Anez also required I see a nutritionist - that was the best $160.00 I ever spent. I learned a lot from this experience. Linda Ailes is my nutritionist.

Dr. Anez is a wonderful professional surgeon who knows his job well. I felt so comfortable with him after my initial consult that i knew he was the one to do my surgery. I am very particular about my healthcare provider because i am a nurse myself. He is very personable and answered all my questions thouroughly. He has a very stucture plan of care pre-op, in hospital, and after care. He expects compliance in your post surgical follow ups so he can monitor your health condition. He is an awesome surgeon with a great personality and i have recommended him several times since i met him in November.

Dr. Anez is a man of few words. I was highly impressed the first time I met him. I visited other Surgeons but went back to him immediately. I felt confident enough to let him handle my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone who asked. He is great and his staff is awesome.
