Dr. Anez has been doing Bariatric and General Surgery for 30 years. In 2006 Dr. Anez was recognized as one of America’s Top Surgeons for General, Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Anez received his medical degree from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. He received his general surgical training at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C.It was there that he developed a passionate interest in obesity surgery while working with his mentors. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the ASMBS, and a fellow of the ACS, & the ICS. DR. ANEZ HAS NOW RETIRED FROM SURGERY.
