DR. BURROWES WAS VERY NICE AND EXPLAINED ALL OF MY OPTIONS AND EVEN MADE DRAWINGS SO THAT MY HUSBAND AND I COULD UNDERSTAND BETTER.
HE DOES STRESS THE FOBI POUCH ALTHOUGH I THINK THAT I AM GOING WITH THE REG. SURGERY. I DON'T HAVE THE $4,000 FOR OUT OF POCKET.
MY APPT. WAS AT 11:00 AND I WASN'T OUT OF THERE UNTIL 1:30 WHICH WAS PRETTY GOOD FROM WHAT I HAVE HEARD.

I HAD MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH DR. HART TODAY AND I REALLY DO LIKE HIM. HIS OFFICE IS SO MUCH EASIER TO GET TO THAN THE LAST DOCTOR.I AM GETTING CLOSER TO THE LOSING SIDE.
4-28-2003 I AM REALLY HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING EVERYTHING CHAGED OVER TO DR. HART.
I WAS APPROVED ALREADY THROUGH DR. BURROWES
SEEMD LIKE IT SHOULD BE AS SIMPLY AS CHAGING THE DOCTOR NAME ON A PIECE OF PAPER. THAT
WOULD BE WONDERFUL BUT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

HONESTY

He is a little distant, but that comes with intellect.

My first impression of Dr. Daly was that he's awesome! I've read a lot of different profiles on this website, and I must say that I didn't have to wait to see my surgeon. I met him on my inital consult. His beside manner was great, and his office staff is really on the ball! I don't need someone to hold my hand, but I did need someone to guide me and tell me what all was needed and when. My impression of Dr. Daly and his office staff hasn't waivered one bit. I'm in the process of getting the approval from my insurance company, so I've not yet had the pleasure of his aftercare program. I know that he does emphasize aftercare, but I can't really give an opinion on it yet. Thus far, I would definately recommend Dr. Daly to anyone in the Atlanta area considering WLS surgery.

I have heard great things about Dr. Richard. I will meet him when I go for Preop on 4/22.

Pre Op: I've not met him yet, but Dr. Williams is Dr. Ken Champion's partner. I decided to go with him because I could get the surgery much sooner. Dr. Champion is world-famous for lap RNY surgery, and according to his staff, Dr. Williams is remarkably skilled and experienced with this surgery. I work in the medical field, so I meticulously studied his CV and profile before I made the decision, and I feel good about it.

The staff there has been fantastic. They have been the epitomy of efficiency, professionalism, and courtesy. They have helped me through the managed care mine field and I am so grateful to them for everything!

Dr. Hart is wonderful. My first impression was that he is very knowledgable about this surgery, and that he wants to educate his patients.

My impression has only continued to grow in favor of Dr. Hart.

Dr. Hart's office staff is knowledge and generally friendly.

The office is very busy, so be patient, it may take time to get an appointment, but it is worth the wait.

Dr. Hart empahsizes that it is very important to follow the Obesity Surgery Book to the letter.

He carefully explained step by step, what the surgery entailed, and the possible risks and side effects. I felt that with the information he gave me, and after the inital conversation that we had, that I was very informed to make my decision to have the surgery.

Both his bedside manner and his competence are great. He takes extra measures to insure that his patients are comfortable. For example when entering the surgical room, I noticed that he had arranged to have extra thick padding placed on the surgical table. I had very little back pain after surgery. Also, If I felt like I needed something in the hospital and the nurses weren't cooperating, I simply had to ask him.
He is fantastic! I highly recommend him.

I first met Dr. Richard at the Informational Meeting in December of last year (2002). I was very impressed with his demeanor from the beginning. I met him today at my pre-op. He was very easy to talk to and extremely thorough. His office staff is wonderful. Aftercare is very important to both him and Dr. Procter and they have a very structured aftercare program. We discussed the benefits and risks of the surgery and I feel very comfortable proceeding. I would highly recommend Dr. Richard to other people who feel that they would best gain control of their weight through obesity surgery.

I think Dr. Daly is WONDERFUL! He's a skilled surgeon that is knowledgable and confident. His staff is GREAT also! Everyone takes the time to answer any questions and they are still nice after you call 2 or 3 times a day! LOL

My first impression of Dr.Williams was how young he looked. Once we spoke I was very comfortable with him and I realized just how knowledgeable he is on bariatrics. The office staff of Champion/Williams were wonderful. They handle all of the paper work regarding the insurance and kept me up to date when I would call there. I would recommend any to see either doctor. They after care that was taught to me by Michelle was explained throughly. The one thing that is stressed is that if you follow the plan you will have high success rate at obtaining your goal.

Dr. Williams has been very kind & supportive since our first appointment. He is rather "shy"...or perhaps it is better to say he is not very outgoing. But he made sure we knew what I am facing...and has been very accomodating.

My surgery is set for tomorrow, so hopefully I can update this soon to tell you how easy it all was!
