I really like Dr.Williams, I felt comfortable with him from the minute I met him. Everyone in his office is very nice, easy to talk too. They take Great care on Informing you of your aftercare and answer any questions you have in detail. I am rating Dr. Williams at a 10, both his surgical competence and bedside manner is Fantastic.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my doctor. He and his staff are awesome. I am older than his maximum age, but he made an exception and gave me a RNY anyway. I really get the feeling that he and everyone in his office really care.

Dr. Williams in my opinion gave me a new lease on life as a more normal person. My impression of him is that he is a concerned Physician that takes time to address things that concern his patients. His staff is top notch and at least one of them has also been through WLS. I would recommend him to anyone even not in the Atlanta area. I drove down three hours from North Carolina just based on the fact that others that had been his patients spoke so highly of him. WLS for the first few days is not easy to deal with but after the post operative time of about two days it changes into a much better situation. Dr. Williams either came in person to check on things or made sure the Hospital staff was staying on top of things and keeping him informed. Thanks again Dr. Williams.

WARNING--I am a little biased. I have managed a doctors office from many positions, I have also been in healthcare for about 15 years. My first impression of Dr. Daly was mixed. When he walked in the room, I felt that I could talk to him about most anything. He did tell me a few things about the RNY. He asked which surgery I had considered. He was encouraging. The staff (Tammy) was wonderful! rnI have a HUGE problem with the office wait. My appointment was at 4pm. When I walked into the waiting room, it was full. Keep in mind that there are only about 20 NON FAT PEOPLE chairs. I had filled out all the necessary paperwork prior to my first visit and still had an HOUR AND A HALF WAIT! There were people being seen (presumably not just WLS) that had appointments at 2:30. The back office staff didn't weigh me or take a blood pressure...isn't that a standard? There were 2 patients that had just had the Lap Band - both said that Dr. Daly is worth the wait, but couldn't really explain why....he was cute - but not enough to wait that long...LOL!rnSo far, I will be cash pay. He told me of what was included in the price, etc. He also runs his own support group, I thought that was neat.rnI don't want to rate Dr. Daly yet, especially since I've only seen him once. Besides, based on the above comments, it might not be good.rnI want a doctor with superior bedside manner and surgical competence.... I think that Dr. Daly has both of these - he's only had 2 patients pass away and that wasn't his fault (one didn't comply with aftercare, don't remember the other). I'm sticking with him so far, for several reasons: confidence, competence, personality and aftercare.rnrn

Dr. Williams is the BEST! Highly regarded as one of the best surgeons in WLS, his care and compassion shines through. He's gentle and unassuming, understanding, listens well. I needed my surgery done laproscopically, for many reasons, not open, and he worked an extra hour and a half just to cut through all the lesions and scar tissue to make it happen! He did my son's surgery, too. Couldn't say enough about how wonderful he is. LOVE his nurse/assistant, too. She's great. Whole staff is so nice and personable. Risks of surgery were WELL defined. I DO wish there was more education prior to surgery (before just the day before) ... and that there was more aftercare.

Dr Hart is the best!! He will answer any questions you throw his way!! He has such confidence and he will make you feel very comfortable not to mention he is the best in his field! His office staff is unbelieable!!rn

My first impression was that I was just a number to Dr. Hart. He was just there to get the papers signed and that was it. Not a hand holder and definately not a warm and fuzzy guy. I don't even think he said my name and looked me in the eye when I came in the room. At least he asked me if I had any questions after our five minute meeting. The worst part about him is that I did not even see his face on the day of surgery. Not a quick hello before or even a nod after. Nothing! I was not even sure if he was really the guy who put the band in or not. The wonderful nurses at Emory Johns Creek said his name a few times anyways. So, as far as expecting anything other from him than being a competent surgeon with a great record and great credentials, don't get your hopes up. His bedside manner.... DOES NOT EXIST, he was NEVER bedside. However, I still thank him for doing his J.O.B well. But really, what do we need from a surgeon except for him to do great surgery???? #2364's opinion rnrnThese are my personal impressions of my own personal experience and I am making no statements about what other people may experience. I also made up the number, I do not know how many surgeries he has performed.

Dr. Hart is a very nice man. My first impression of him was, he is very very quiet but very experienced. I was told before my visit that he was \"a man of very little words .\" So I wasnt surprised when I met him and he was quiet. He shook my hand, we sat down, discussed my questions and that was about it. He was very straight to the point and nothing more or nothing less. But he was however very professional and as long as he knew what he was doing I didnt mind. During my pre-op I asked if he would let me mom and husband know everything went okay after my surgery he said he would via nurse. Well that never happened. I'm guessing the nurse told the front desk I was fine and when my family inquired thats what they were told. That was my only upset over the whole surgery and it wasnt even Dr. Harts fault. Over all I liked him. He and the operating staff took great care of me during my operation. The nurses were impressed at how fast I recovered from everything. He came and checked up on me while I was in recovery which I wasnt expecting, I feel bad because when he asked me how I was doing all I said was \"I'm good\" and that was it. I wanted to thank him but for some reason was out of it and couldnt find the words, lol. The office staff at True Results, is awesome. There nice and always willing to answer any questions. They even called me the next day to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I would recommend Dr. Hart in a quick minute as well as True Results.

Dr. Johnson appears very young, but it doesn't take long to realize how much knowledge he has and compassion and excitement for the changes that will take place in his patients. The office staff is top notch. I switched to his practice from another and could not have asked for more assistance and response. Dr. Johnson feels that the patients and doctors are in a contract with each other and their practice believes in follow-up care. I would certainly favor surgical competence over bedside manner any day, but because Dr. Johnson has both - wasn't an issue!!!

My first impression of him was he's busy but knowledgeable. His staff has been professional, so far. I haven't had the surgery yet will update later.
