Have had absolutely no problems to this point. My wife had this done 1 year ago, same doctor. She had no problems either.

My first impression was that he seemed like a regular guy, didn't try to overwhem you with big words or medical terms. He was down to earth, explained the entire process in detail, both the positives and negatives of the surgery. They have a very structured pre-op and post-op program. At the end of the 1+ hour interview he said I would be an outstanding candidate and said lets "git er done!" I'm looking forward to the next step

Dr. Paul is the same age as I am and he is so warm and understanding. I did not feel rushed and he answered every question. He asked me about 3 times if I had any other questions.
The office staff is great! Everyone is extremely caring and always happy to help.
There really isn't anything I didn't like.
Dr. Paul is an extremely kind man. He is also very straight forward and tells you how it is. If you can not do everything you are told before the surgery, he will CANCEL your surgery. He wants his patients to be healthy and very well informed.
After care is extremely important. You have to commit to being seen one week, two weeks, four weeks, 8 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery. This program is very structured. It makes you be accountable for all areas of your life.
Dr. Paul gave me several booklets and a lot of reading material describing all the risks and benifits of having WLS.
I would have to rate Dr. Paul and his staff as excellent. I believe both surgical competence and bedside manner are equally important.

Very professional.

I discovered that he was very kind also.

There are the most wonderful people working in this office.

Nothing that comes to mind.

He is a very good surgeon with a wonderful support staff.

You work with a dietian, exercise person, a series of office visits after surgery and then once a year for the rest of your life.

Yes he has a wonderful aftercare program.

They were very straight forward about risks and benefits.

I would definately refer people to him. I would do it over again with this surgeon.

Both surgical competence and bedside manner were great.

So far my experience with MMPC has been positive. They are very busy there but the staff are all very friendly and caring. The PA there named Todd is my favorite. He is an especially nice guy who likes to kidd a lot. Also I appreciated that right up front they told me what my out of pocket expense was going to be. I had my surgery at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids and my treatment there was very, very good. The worse part was that it's a two hour drive from where I live to GR. It was hell coming home the day after surgery. But I think that it was worth it because they have done several thousand WLS there and know what they are doing.

Dr. Kemmeter is very upfront about the risks and of what he expectes from you as a patient. He is also very thorough. The MMPC office staff is very friendly and helpful. They also are very thorough and cover every question you may have before you ask it. Dr. Kemmeter wants to make sure that you are serious about the prodedure and will cancell the surgery date if you do not do your part. MMPC's after care is excellent. They are always available for questions and offer evening appointments. I don't think he has ever been overweight and maybe cannot understand all the emmotional downs of being obese. Dr. Kemmeter lays all the risks out on the table, and make sure you understand. I would rate Dr. Kemmeter a 10. He offers both surgical excellence and great bedside manner.

My first impression of Dr Kemmeter was that he was very helpful and informed.

My impression has not changed over time. I am very happy that I chose this Dr.

The entire staff at MMPC for Health Excellence is very nice and helpful if on the phone or in person.

There is a very structured pre and post op program that must be followed.

The Doctor and staff were all very instructive. They made sure that I understood everything about what was going to happen from arrival to the hospital until after. They made sure I understood the chance of complications and what those possibilities were.

I think Dr Kemmetter was great!

WOW, what a fantastic guy! Made me feel relaxed and comfortable with him and with my decision. His emphasis on this as a "tool" is strong and he was upfront about risks.

The program at MMPC is awesome. Certainly a full-service program. Run with compassion and ON TIME!!

My first impression of Dr. Kemmeter was that he seem to be a very nice and honest person. He didn't sugar coat any thing he told me all I needed to know about this surgery and I found that to be the best for me.
My impression of him hasn't changed over time and have found him to be a very wonderful and caring person.
I would describe his staff as fantastic and giving and caring and going the whole nine yards for you when you need it.
Was nothing I didn't like about him or his staff, other then one person and our personals didn't click.
Future patients should know about him is that he will be a very giving and caring person and will be there for as long as you will need him.
Dr. Kemmeter has been very much involved in my aftercare and my concerns since surgery. He always answers all my questions and concerns.
Yes Dr. Kemmeter has a very good structured aftercare program.
Dr. Kemmeter addresses all the risks and I still was prepared to take them if it could make me more healther.
I would rate Dr. Kemmeter from 1 to 10 1 being the worst and 10 being the best I would say he is a 10 a very and giving man.
His surgical competence and bedside manner were just fantastic and I couldn't have ask for a more giving and caring person then Dr. Paul Kemmeter.
I must say that Dr. Kemmeter did not do my surgery but was shedcule to and got sick the night before, but he did assist Dr. Foote who did my sugery but Dr. Kemmeter was there after surgery and has been my guide for all before surgery and aftercare.
