I have met with this surgeon twice and I have an approval with my insurance for him. However he is out of network. I need to find a surgeon in network so I am contacting your offices.

I immediately liked him; he was professional and very personable. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was very thorough. I am very much at ease knowing that Dr. Schram will be performing my surgery. The rest of the staff in Holland was awesome also. Fantastic team of professionals!

Dr. Schram seems to be a very successful bariatric surgeon. His seminars are very informative and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Schram has an excellent track record, which was one of my deciding factors for choosing him.

I had my initial consult with Dr. Schram and I was very impressed. He was able to explain things in laymans terms and he was more than willing to answer all my questions. The Barix Clinic itself ws easy to get to and all the staff were very professional. Parking is free!

Dr. Schram gave me an impression that he really cares about helping his patients. His office staff in Holland was friendly and very helpful. The risks involved in Lab Band surgery was explained very well, and overall I would rate Dr. Schram and his employees a 10 out of 10.

My name is Karen and I am 3 weeks out.
Doctor Foote did my surgery and all I can say about him is "He is the Man!"

He is very caring and professional and he did a wonderful Job on my surgery.

I am so thankful that I got him.

He spoke to me about all of the risk involved, yet he assured me that he could handle the job, without even saying it.

He never said a word about his faith, but I just knew.

The thing that I love about him the most is that he is a Christian.

He did not tell me this, but the love and care of Jesus just shines through.

I knew that he was not depending totally on himself to do my surgery, but he placed my surgery in "Hands greater than his".

1) What was your first impression of him/her? My first inpression was that he was very young but capable.

2)How did your impression change over time? It didnt change much, except that I think he saved my life. I truly would recomend anyone to go to him for their surgery, he was and is caring, compasionate and capable.

3) How would you describe his/her office staff? Everyone at the Barix Clinic in Holland and Yspy are wonderful, always encouraging and they always go out of their way to make you feel special.

4) How much does he/she emphasize aftercare? Aftercare is very inportant to him he is always there when I need to ask a question, Big or small.

5) How did he/she address the risks of surgery? He was very up fromt about the risks. He didnt make it apear to be anything but what it was, a risky surgery that could be fatal.

6) How would you rate him/her overall? on a scale of 1 - 10 I would give him and his staff a 100+

7) Which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great? Both are awsome.

What can I say about him besides...wow. He did an incredible job. His bedside manner is incredible, and his PA's are just as wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. The office staff was pleasant most of the time but they did have their off days.
