I first met Dr. Schram when he conducted a WLS seminar that I attended at Barix clinics in Holland. He presented the information clearly, and concisely and was very patient and thorough when potential candidates asked questions. He addressed both the pro's and con's and stressed that WLS was a tool for our use, not a cure for obesity. He has a phenomenal track record in the bariatric field and places a lot of emphasis on aftercare, which I have been very pleased with. The office staff is second to none and I would highly recommend Barix clinics and Dr. Schram to anyone interested in WLS. On the day of my surgery, I was exceedingly apprehensive and scared (like most pre-op's, I'm sure) and he came to me, held my hand and asked my husband and me if he could pray with us before surgery. I realize that this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was very appropriate for us and I am greatful to him for his reasurrance and skills. He has given me a new, healthy lease on life and I have had no complications or complaints. Rock on, Dr. Schram!
My first impression of Dr Foote was WOW!! He is young and good looking!!!rnI was told he was the best of the best and I agree!!! Dr Foote is THE BEST!!!!rnI never had any problems with his office staff at all and was treated very well.rnI liked everything about Dr Foote.rnDr Foote doesn't beat around the bush...he tells you like it is.rnYou must follow the guidelines that are given to you if you want to succeed in this WLS.rnYou must exercise to help you tone up and lose weight. Go to support group meetings which are very beneficial to you. And make sure you get all your protein and water in each and every day along with the vitamins. And also follow-up on your post-op visits.rnAll surgeris have risks. If you do what you are told there should be NO problems.rnOn a scale of 1-10...I would say a 10+!!!! Excellent Dr!!!! rnBoth are great...makes you feel like a human instead of another paycheck.rnGOD BLESS DR. FOOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!rn
I went to Dr Schram March 24th. I was very impressed with his manner and professionalism. He is very through in explaining everything and answering questions. Any of the girls I have spoken with have been great, even listening to my ramblings and tears, not just blowing you off. Most of them have been where I am today!rnrnIf I had to choose over again, I would choose Dr Schram and would recommend him to anyone considering having this surgery.'rnrnFrom what I see, they are very serious about the after care, havent experienced that yet,lol.rnrnI have had 3 post-op check ups. I am very pleased at the care I have gotten from Dr. Schram. Their gals are great if you have a question, and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone for this surgery.
Dr. Foote was one awesome and very caring gentleman. I am very happy to have him as my surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone would is in this area.
I like Dr. Schram he seems to realy care about the health of his patiants. Iknow that Dr. Schram is very short and to the point, but to me that just shows that he is effitiant.all the girls at the office are kind and empithetic. he is very well put together. don't take his shortness personaly. care befor and after surgery is very important at Barix. yes aftercare is something that they brag about at barix. risk was addressed but Dr.Schram has an almost perfect track recored. 10.competence is the most important more important than bedside manner. If a Dr. has both they are great. but that is hard to get. I would much rather come out of surgery alive than come outwith a friendly Dr. waiting for me.
Dr.Schram is the best surgeon you can find.Words can not describe him .I was back to normal in 3 days.He has agood bedsside manner and the best surgical competence.His staff is awsome too. From 1 to 10 i would rate him 11.
Dr. Schram is the most wonderful doctor I have ever had the pleasure of \"working\" with. He is personable, charming, caring, and most of all, he knows his stuff! From the minute I met him, I felt like I was his only patient. Even though I never spent a lot of time with him in consultation, the questions I asked were taken seriously. He was also my husband's surgeon, and he, too, felt Dr. Schram was wonderful.
My husband and I felt comfortable from the minute we met him. My surgery is scheduled for Sept 5. He answered all my questions and I had many, he was patient and didn't rush me he answered everyone of my questions. His staff has been helpful and kind.
Dr. Foote is a very caring person. He made sure I knew the ins and outs of the surgery. He made me feel very comfortable with my decision.
