Excellent hospital. Excellent staff. Everyone was very pleasant and they were johnny-on-the-spot with pain/nausea meds.

From the registration people, nurses aides,nurses, x-ray techs and the doctors, all I can say is they are the nicest, most professional people I have ever encountered.

The staff anticipated my every need. I never had to use the nurse call system for anything. I was well cared for, they checked on me regularly and the entire staff was completely attentive to my needs. I highly recommend Kelli Potenza, RN, Bariatric Coordinator and the entire ORMC Bariatric team!

I would go back, if I had to, for any hospital stay that was needed. I will definately recommend it to anyone.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the anesthesiologist did not know how to communicate with the patients. I was already worried about surgery and he comes in to tell me "You are obese and don't hold your oxygen well so you can stroke, have a heart attack, or die on the table" That is not what you want to hear right before surgery. I know I'm obese, that is why I chose to have the surgery!!

I only had problems with one nurse the whole time I was there. Other then that I felt good and well taken care of.

I had (2) nurses (Linda) and a student that were absolutely horrible, but ALL of the other nurses were wonderful. Especially Jessica was the best!!! This nurse Linda and the trainee she had with her were very unprofessional. She was definitely sure of herself and gave me no confidence that she knew what she was doing, as well as the student she was training. She wiped my arm with a papertowel after taking my blood sugar, who sanitary is that. She actually acted like she did not know what to do. I went to the Dr today and she had left a suture in when she removed my drain, that he had to go in and remove.

My room was not cleaned one single time from Tues-Thur. wife ask them to clean and Kelli was going to find out why. Kelli was excellent as well!!!

Ocala RMC is set up to work with Dr. Jawad and his needs. They are only a few short miles from his office and very easy to find! The staff was there to help me with anything I needed.
