The nurses were all friendly, experianced in the surgery I had been in, quick to respond to my needs and were very encouraging.

beds were WAY too soft and not conducive to a bariatric patient in my opinion....also, the broth they brought in to eat tasted like pure chicken fat...it was awful, but the caregivers were excellent.

The nurse I had the first night was great, her name was Denise. Another great nurse I had was Sandy and I had a great nurse at the time I was discharged, I can't remember her but she kept saying, you wil look like a super model in a year, just wait and see. She was wonderful. Be carful some nurses didn't like leaving their cushy chairs but I guess that will have to do.

The staff the first night in the hospital was excellant. They were so attentive and helpful. The next night they were very rushed becaused a few people had called in sick. I never felt that I wasn't taken care of though. The 3rd and 4th night staff nurses and I did not get along at all. The nurse that I had was a very large women and just wasn't a very nice person. She didn't have alot of sympathy at all thank god my hubby was there when I got upset over things. He calmed me down before I beat my nurse in the head. Overall its wasn't bad.

I thought the nurses were rude. They didnt help that much. I wouldnt go there again.

I didnt mind the stay because they werent bad. The only thing I really didnt like is the nurses didnt really help ya out alot with getting around especially the first day after surgery

Like most hospitals, Norton Suburban is understaffed with nurses. The night shift was extremely slim and it took 15-20 minutes for a response that was non-emergency. The thing I liked most about the hospital is that some of the nurses have had this surgery themselves so they can offer encouragement during your stay.

This hospital was very accommodating. I live about 2 1/2 hrs from hospital and they allowed my husband to spend the entire time in the hospital with me. He was allowed to sleep in the extra bed in my room. Saved us a fortune in hotel bills.
